Just a couple of my doodles.

GEEK DETECTIVE
Image

I apologize for the poor quality of the scan. Astute viewers will recognize a couple of webcomic characters incorporated into the scenery. The big demented grin on the wall behind the heroes is a sleep-deprived, sugar-fed Jennie Breeden, for instance.

Anastas the Traveler

A longrunning character of mine and admittedly a bit Mary Sue in nature.

I like the Wanderer. The electricity/magic? is really well done.

Well, the issue is one of software. The program I used to crop and the edit the image likes to make jpg images look really blocky and bad. In any event, this is not something I ever plan to do professionally, it's just for fun.

Teleportingbassist, yes that is electricity.

After being away for a while, I thought I'd add some more doodles.

Ninja

I'd be lying if I said he didn't get some inspiration from Naruto.

Mecha Design

This could be something from The Foundry, or maybe Dr. Otaku created it.

Sherry Cheesecake

I think her name speaks volumes. ;)

Dang it, how do you people get so good at art? I've tried for so long and it still never works!

Oh, and good job with the drawings.

I've been doing this since I was old enough to pick up a crayon and draw. It does take practice, though. I know people who started much later in life than I did and have far surpassed my skills because they were able to devote more time to it.

So is the cat in your Avatar actually an infernal creature, or is the feline actually unusual? 8)

That's Eb (short for Ebenezer). He's just a big lump of hair.

EDIT: 12/01/2008 Eb is no longer among the living and hasn't been for a while, so I removed his image yesterday.
