Shinobi's Art

Postby Shinobi » Sat Sep 09, 2006 11:59 pm

Well, please feel free to comment on some random stuff that I'll post here on occasion. Please to remember these are the works of a deranged mind... with not enough time on his hands... or should that be too much (RIGHHHHT!)

Some more characters to come... oh, what the heck, here's cheerleader Tiff... again.

As you can see, she's an advocate for safe sex... okay, that was my low point for the day.

Well, he is a high school kid... but errr no. That picture is sans background, oh Spock of the Four Amigos. But you do have an El Humourous point there.

This is a little project I was working on earlier this year, he has developed a lot further (okay maybe a little, coat tails and leg muscles). A hero has to be on hand when DMAC's Robot Army takes over...

Two questions:

Was that a Golem figure or did you do it from scratch? Cause it looks awesome.

Also, has anyone done the stats for Cricket yet?

Started from scratch with a wire armature and built it up with tin foil, and the outer layer is good old plasticine. I'll have to update the pics soon as I have added a fair bit more since then.

The Cricket certainly does have stats - he's a PL8 character but we're yet to post them... you can read more about his abilities in either Cricket's Crime Files or Power and Responsibility in the Story Hour.

Thanks for the compliment too. I'm just starting to get into sculpting.

Okay, combine a 15 year old drawing, someone trying to learn how to colour on Photoshop and a poor knowledge of human and bovine anatomy... what do you get... TA DAH! A minotaur with varicose veins and a few extra spare ribs... but those legs are T-bones waiting to happen: extra muscles at no extra cost per pound/kilo.

Image

This old pic is why I've since done a lot of work on anatomy... human and bovine... okay the bovine anatomy is usually studied at barbeques... and that's no bull.
