Thanks.

I believe bottom middle showed up in one of the Emerald City Knights adventures but they let me redesign him here (he's not Cerebrus Rex).

Negative on both counts.

The Kickstarter is now underway for Stay Alive - Not Undead A Zombie Safety & Awareness Coloring/Activity book I'm doing the artwork for.

In addition to the coloring book itself, your contribution can get you T-shirts, stickers, signed prints of my artwork, and sketch covers by a variety of amazing artists including Todd Nauck, Ben Templesmith, and Gabriel Rodriguez.

If that's not something that has gone out and been finalized, you might want to check the girl's trigger finger. Even posing for a shot, I can't believe that a cop would allow such poor trigger discipline on something they're handing out.

Unless that's what you want to have the police encouraging, and there's layers of satire at play I don't know about.

As someone whose knowledge of guns pretty much begins and ends with Super Soakers, are you just referring to the fact that she has her finger on the trigger?

Yeah, that would be it.
Its suggested by pretty much anybody I've had training with that you should never have your finger inside the trigger guard until you're ready to fire the gun at a target.
That way you don't accidentally shoot somebody if you should trip, fall, or be surprised by something you weren't expecting. (Generally when people are suprised then tend to tense up, which is bad when your finger is on the trigger)
Then again they'd also probably suggest against pointing it in the air.

So from a Safety standpoint, not so good.
On a Looking Great standpoint it's pretty awesome!

I mean, come on, it's about zombie safety, not gun safety right? ;~)

I'm upset no one thought to bring a chainsaw. As far as firearms safety goes, keep your fingers off the trigger, and keep the weapon pointed in a safe direction (if it's pointed up, and discharges, the bullet still has to come down somewhere). But, either way, I think the idea of a zombie coloring book would be fun.

Like others have said, yeah, it's about the finger on the trigger. People shouldn't do that, but they do in real life, because sometimes people are stupid. And the gun pointing up is another no-no, but that's hard to change and still keep the pose the same. But if you just had the finger pointed along the gun (like so http://imageshack.us/f/855/discipline.jpg/ ) it would be something that an actual police agency would be more comfortable publishing.

And I'll drop it before I get all arglbargl trigger safety about a zombie apocalypse.

Switched up the hosting on my site so most of my older stuff isn't working right now. I have everything backed up but probably won't upload it until the weekend.

A piece I commissioned from DMAC for an old D&D Eberron character. Figured somebody might be able to use it for something else too, so here ya go. One Warforged Paladin.

The young lady on the cover shouldn't have her finger on the trigger! I know this is a humorous book and not a serious guide to safety, but that's a major gun safety faux pas.
