elasticity matter eater

Post by dracodrows » Sun Apr 06, 2008 6:13 pm

a player of mine had a idea they asked me about and it sounds good but i wanted to see if it would work you see he wants to take the powers Matter Eater and Elasticity thus allowing him to stretch his moulth out to attempt to eat larger objects thus getting around or rather scurting the rule of only eating as much as you can fit in your moulth in one round
does this really work that easy?

Yes and no. Our matter-eater can still only "consume" Matter-Eater rank in Toughness per round, and larger objects and materials should have effective Toughness increases for their size (see the rules on breaking things in M&M). The character would effectively have an Engulf Snare along with a Toughness Drain, and it might take some time to fully "digest" a large object.
