why the heck are costumed adventurers so powerful?

Postby Star-Spanngled Banner » Sun Feb 03, 2008 2:24 pm

in my pl 10 campaign my friends wrote up their guys, one a costumed adventurer the other a paragon. what bothered me was that the costumed adventurer was able to do everything the paragon could do but with points left over, mainly because of things like defensive roll and dodge focus. feats seem to me like they should cost more than one power point per rank. i mean a guy in a cap has a +10 melee with his staff, a +10 with his boomerang and thrown weapon mastery, and a +10 defense and toughness, all with points left  i dont see how thats very fair :x
