Balancing the Heal Power

Post by General Disarray » Tue Jul 13, 2004 3:43 am

As of recently I have been trying to find a way to balance the healing power as it seems a little to powerful for what you pay. My main problem with the power is that it takes away, in one half action, what has occured to a character over the course of several rounds of combat, is there a way to balance out this instantaneous healing effect? Perhaps having it take place over the course of a few rounds instead of one half action?

Making healing gradual is certainly one approach, if you're finding the power a spoiler in your current games. You might also think about making it a full action to heal. Technically, it can even be a full action on the part of BOTH the healer and the subject, since the subject probably has to remain relatively still and in contact with the healer.
