slick and slide

Postby Shadowdragon » Sat Aug 13, 2005 10:21 am

I'm a little confused as to how the slide extra for the slick power is supposed to work. Does the character create an area of slick using a half action, then move on it using slide? Wouldn't this mean that the character is always overshooting his slick area? Say a character has slick 5 (extras: slide). He can create 25ft of slick as a half action, but move 55ft as a half action. Or is the slick creation automatic so that the character creates a slick area under his feet as he moves? If it's the later, would the slick area still have the normal rules for the slick power, or would it just increase the character's movement and not work like a normal slick?

It's automatic and just affects the character's movement.
