OK, here's the problem. I've been trying to work out how to handle a situation where 2 opposing characters become joined together (Maybe from an Area Snare that anchors them to eachother or somebody with Create Object creating manacles between two characters).
If for some reason they are unable to break the "connection" the biggest problem i see is movement. What if one wants to go in a different direction to the other? The easiest thing i could think of was an opposed Strength check where for every 5 points one character exceeds the other they can move 5 feet in their chosen direction. Do you think this works?
The other thing i was worried about was how being chained or stuck to an opponent would effect your abilities in combat? So how would you go about handling this entire situation?
Thanks!

Sounds like a reasonable handling of it to me. I'd probably impose a -2 penalty for unfavorable conditions on characters who are stuck together, since they can't move as freely as they normally would.
