Yes you must... One of the best shows ever. I think most of it is on Youtube, or at least it was, and just a couple years ago they released a very affordable complete collection that has everything but the Mini-Series. John Crichton is my hero and Winona is his Excalibur...

And a universe in which Thorpacolypse has not borne witness to the 7' of pure honor-bound asskicking that is Ka D'Argo is not a universe that makes any sense to me.

The full run of Farscape is available through Netflix instant streaming and Amazon Prime streaming, if you would prefer to go the non-pirate route.

Edit: Note to self, when building characters on a laptop with a lousy battery (a) make sure the cord is in the comptuer, the plug is in the wall, and both halves of the thing are connected to each other, (b) save often, and (c) don't save over your other files. Farscape is a great show, there are better sci-fi shows, but the ride that Farscape gives you is pure fun. If you do watch it, I hope that you like it. My favorite is a 2 part episode in Season 2, "Liars, Guns, & Money"!

Farscape was a crazy awesome Space Opera that ran from 1999 to 2003 on the SciFi Channel. It was produced by the Jim Henson Company, although co-funded by the network, and co-created by Rockne O'Bannon and Brian Henson. Production took place in Sydney, Australia, to take advantage of lower costs. Canceled in 2003, Farscape had a brief resurrection with a two-part miniseries that resolved the cliffhanger from season four and gave fans a condensed version of the planned plot for season five.

To quote Crichton himself, the premis is thus: "John was an astronaut. He lived in a far away place called Earth, which is so far away you've never heard of it. One day, when John was out doing astronaut things, a big, blue wormhole gobbled him up and spat him out at the far end of the Universe." That's the openning thirty-seconds, the rest is just impossibly awesome.

Red Angel, informally known simply as "Angel", is a teenage super heroine currently working with The Trismegistus Council to tackle the increased use of black magics by organized crime groups worldwide. She is also affiliated with the Millennium Maidens supergroup.

Cassie's main abilities come from her mastery of Kabbalic sorcery and magic, although she makes use of several technological devices. Red Angel has a wide range of various powers and abilities which are rooted in Kabbalic mysticism. Though not required, Angel often speaks the phrases and incantations in Hebrew in order to focus her abilities. Red Angel has the power and ability to heal most wounds and injuries, not only healing others but herself as well. Red Angel can absorb the pain of others into her own body (with no ill-effect) in order to induce rapid healing for them and can heal herself by going into a trance of emotional calm.

Red Angel flies by way of an anti-gravity belt & boots constructed from an alien metal, the abilities of which are controlled mentally. A set of wings laced with this metal allow her to control navigation and guidance during flight.

Red Angel's costume is made of a version of the Nomex fire-resistant, triple-weave Kevlar-lined material. It is an excellent protection against damage, and it's also electrically insulated. Her primary costume costume is tailored specifically to her unique style of crime-fighting. As such, her costume is fairly lightly armored except for the chest and upper torso, anticipating a decreased need for shock-absorption and an increased capacity for motion ("Move more, get hit less."). A caveat of this configuration can be exploited by capable fighters who are both fast and strong. She has variant costumes for use in specific environments, such as the harsh cold of the Canadian north.

:idea: Red Angel is my primary PC in the oh-so-addictive Champions Online MMO. As such, her build here reflects some of the quirks of the MMO genre, namely, she's rather over-the-top on powers and very light on skills for the typical M&M3e character I build. Red Angel is a pretty cool character BGIII, but Seraphic Expulsion sounds....a little...odd. The power is cool, but the name causes my brain to go places I'd rather it didn't. :|

You misunderstand my meaning. I wasn't confused by the definition of the power, but being the low-brow sort of character I am...it just sounds like an angelic fart. What can I say? I'm hopelessly redneck. :wink:

Cadet Britain, informally known simply as Brit, is a teenage super heroine affiliated with the Millennium Maidens supergroup. She owns a luxury loft in downtown Millennium City, which she shares with her team-mate Red Angel.

Barbara Cain is the fourth member, and third generation, of her family to don the colors. Her grandfather Yeoman Britain defended the British home-front from the Nazis during World War II and was joined by her uncle, the first Cadet Britain. With his death in battle against the Gadroon in 1984, his younger sister took up the family crusade as Cadet Britainia. Barbara Cain never planned to become a superhero, despite her skills matching those of her forbearers, she felt there was no need for a girl with a bow and arrow in a world of jet-powered apes and magical monsters. Until the Qularr assault on Millennium City, which convinced her to pick up her bow for the first time in the fight against evil.

Cain was trained to become a master archer specializing in the use of regular bows, longbows, compound bows, and crossbows with near-perfect accuracy. She is capable of firing multiple arrows at a single target in a few seconds, hitting multiple targets in a few quick strokes, and directly hitting small targets at the greatest of distances. She practices a minimum of two hours per day to keep her skills honed.
