Well.. I feel inadequate now.

Well, if you want to lose your mind you could create power-corresponding DC comics builds based upon where their "counterparts" lie on Marvel's scale as it relates to these builds here. Kind of a counterpoint to what Taliesin's doing, trying to do Marvel characters with the Official DC Adventures builds as their guide.

That might explode a rational man's mind however.

hows abouts a Hero System/CHampions conversion system? that would be interesting.

or maybe the less well known Silver Age Sentinels system?

would LOVE to see conversion systems and characters from both.

and considering the great job you did with FASERIP, regardless of what you do next, i'll be watching :!:

Ive done conversions for both actually not to steal legends thunder or anything. Especially since mine were done in 2nd ed instead of third. :D
Dr. Silverback has wryly observed that this is like trying to teach lolcats about Shakespeare

My jaw drops with the sheer amount of effort that obviously went into this project. Thank you very much!

legend wrote:Thank you. It wasn't easy at first. It took a lot of time to come up with basic conversion rules. After that, it was mostly a lot of typing and became easier. I used to be a Director of Regulatory affairs in the medical device industry. So I have a lot of experience with data, overwhelming paperwork, and conversions (like matching US paperwork to other nations' regulations). I am currently unemployed so I have both the time and desire to work on big projects.

Also, don't forget that TSR did most of the work for me! I am just the translator.

When working at anything just have an ultimate goal in mind an chip away at it slowly through a series of small actions.

I only have one more batch of updates left (Avengers Archives) before I am done with FASERIP. However there's a new Marvel came coming out in early 2012 & I hope to work on converting it too.

I am also working on Amalgam Comics' characters but it is less scientific as I have nothing to convert. I would love another big project. Something different. If anyone has anything in mind, let me know.
I also say Wow! and good work.

If you are looking for another "Impossible Job" to fill some time... maybe you could look at Villains and Vigilantes. I love those crazy guys and gals. I tried a First ED- conversion plan of my own, but it overwhelmed me.

Congratulations! What an amazing feat you've accomplished!

Actually I believe someone did tackle V&V for 2nd edition. I know I have always loved V&V but their nebulous statistics and stating system made some conversions pretty hard.

Someone did MnM 1ED for Crisis at Crusader Citadel, but that's all I have seen. 8)

This is great. I was thinking about converting the Secret Wars adventure to M&M, and this will be very helpful in doing so. Thanks.
Cyclops: "Open your mouth again and my glasses come off."
Iceman: "Okay, that is officially the lamest threat I have ever-"
Xavier: "Enough!"

Legend-

I am wondering if you have all these marvel conversions for the M&M 3rd ed somewhere i can download them as a PDF or a Word Doc. These are awesome and would save me tons of time, I'm starting an exiles campaign and these premade sheets would be much appreciated. Please send me a link if such applies and thank you in advance

No I did not save them.

PS - Sorry for the late reply. Just moved back to NYC and I've been out of it.

Not quite on topic, but I just came across these design notes for the old FASERIP game.

I especially like this one:

28) Most of the fan comments I got about Marvel over the years fit into three categories:

1) I love your game!
2) I love your game, and here's how to fix it!
3) I play Champions, but I buy all your stuff to convert it over!
