And our last American Ninja writeup, the bad guy (who as far as we can determine has pretty much the same stats as the hero - it's not exactly a detailed movie).

Have a nice ninja day.

When I get back today I'm reading up on this movie. Those are perhaps the greatest complications I've ever read.

Though this...

Steve James was too cool for Complications !

I'm currently assessing the workload for a Silver Sable rewrite (probably a three-parter - before her own series, her own series, after her own series).

As you may have seen the early Silver Sable article has been up for a while, though I haven't found time to churn out the M&M stats based on the research.

I'm prepping some major evolutions for the site, so the dry season M&M-wise is going to continue. :|

Glad to see you back on the boards, Ghostwise!

I am looking forward to your Silver Sable 3-part re-write!

If you remember, she was one of a few I requested a number of months back. I know you mentioned backlog of work, so am excited you are planning on SS!

Any time to update these others?
Black Cat
Black Widow-Natasha (probably needs 1 or 2 more entries (a 5th & 6th) to catch up to today's Widow.
Carrie White
Jean Grey
Saturn Queen

Superwoman (your versions of the CSA character)

I love your profiles. Thanks.

I remember when I my whole family to the drive in to see American Ninja. It was the second movie shown, the main one was one of Jean Claude Van Damme's first movies, No Retreat, No Surrender.

Hello,
I have a few questions regarding Wonder Woman and I thought you might know the answers and be able to help me. It is about Wonder Woman's Strength stats from the 1985 and 1989 games.

I saw stats that had WW STR 26/50 which never seemed correct, except if this was for the E-2 version, where Power Girl E-2 had STR 33/50 and Supes E-2 had STR 36/50. Earth-1 Supes was 50/50. Supergirl 48/50, Mon-El 48/50, Superboy 47/50. Night Girl was 45/50 and Ultra Boy 44/50.

In the 1989 game, I saw WW STR 16/25, which again didn't seem correct, but there was no E-2 versions at that time. Superman was 25/25. PG was 22/25, Andromeda and Mon-El 23/25, Night Girl and Ultra Boy both 22/25.

To me, Earth-1 WW should have been about 42/50 STR for the 1985 game and 21/25 for the 1989 Post-Crisis game. This would have placed WW 1 under PG (22) until PG was depowered to 20 (then WW 1 above) and again to 18 (WW 3 STR above).

This would allow for the DCA game stat of STR 16 to make more sense and with keeping in line with the character. I know one game has nothing to do with the others, but there can be a continuity-of-sort if all the stats are correctly done. For example, I was surprised WW was not the strongest female listed. Like at least a 17 or even 18 in DCA! (Mary Marvel at 17?!) But I guess WW would not be that high, if all along she was weaker. However, my guess would be that WW would be even less than a 16 in DCA if she really was a 26/16 in the other games.

What do you think? Do you know of any other WW STR stats or if I remembered these correctly? What do you think of the ranking of the STRENGTHS?

Thanks for any help and info you can provide.

The workload on the site itself has killed the DCA/M&M time quite dead. And the work has intensified to increase the adverts revenue to pay for the technical bills for the development of the 2014 version of the site, which will in turn consume a massive amount of time.

Still, I've managed to cram in a new series of stats from this thread being inserted into the full writeups ; this set features the Mystery Men stats by Pawsplay. Roll call :

FWIW the Killer Shrike had its texts rewritten (IIRC I originally wrote it with a migraine, and it showed) and received a tiny update.

Goldar's questions about relative strength levels were discussed on the DCH mailing list, since they were generally system-agnostic.

And here's something I was supposed to do months ago, so I can lighten my hideous to-do list. It corresponds to *early* Silver, before she gets her own series.

Actually it's getting worse. :D Close to 17,000 images embiggened to the new format so far, and something like 3,000 entries receiving Amazon links to the most germane stories featuring the character (in the better reprint format, if any).

Plus hundreds of new and redone entries - and I've been recently ploughing through hundreds of hi-res digital reissues of comics to replace our old scans of our old floppies with much, much better digital excerpts. A complete overhaul of the site is also slowly taking shape backstage.

So cramming in M&M work with any regularity is impossible, which is sad - especially since entries with M&M stats do get markedly more views, so people like them. :| Oh well, I have to run out of high-priority site improvement work at *some* point, right ? Right ?

Sorry to hear site work has buried you guys. It's definitely wortyh the effort, though. WORG is still the first place I'll check if I'm looking up a character, if you have an entry on them then I know it will be better than I'll find anywhere else.
