Builders Notes:
From what I could gather. Bigby used to be a villain that Mordenkainen charmed into serving him faithfully. Over time, Mordenkainen, was able to convert him into a good guy. Well at least of a Nuetral Alignment. But there was not much real background to reveal about him. Save he is perhaps one of the most cautious of the eight. But considering what was written about him, its hard to believe that the person who gave him stats, didn't seem to follow the implied power of Mordenkainen's Apprentice.

I learned a lot about cats when i started this. Like their low-light vision, is more based on their whiskers than eyesight. Also I thought it be a fun exercise. Also its tough doing an established/iconic characters within a point cost, so I through that out the window. And went for what felt right at a minimum.

I don't know if that whole 'villain' background is true for Bigby.

That scares me, that anyone would want to find out..

Narsil wrote:I don't know if that whole 'villain' background is true for Bigby.

This is the reference material I was given
"Bigby was created by Rob Kuntz as a low-level non-player character evil wizard in the early dungeons of Greyhawk in 1973. Gary Gygax's character, the wizard Mordenkainen, encountered Bigby. The two wizards engaged in combat, and Mordenkainen managed to subdue Bigby using a charm spell, and forced Bigby to become his servant. Kuntz ruled that Bigby would be Mordenkainen's servant as long as he remained under the charm spell, but until Gygax, through roleplaying, had won Bigby's loyalty, the evil wizard would remain a non-player character under Kuntz's control. "

Reference Material to this subject are listed on the wikipedia.

Builder's Notes:
The Wife and I have been reliving our love for the Doctor, and have been watching the 10th Incarnation. This version is a stripped down, playable PC for PL 10, which is something I have really wanted to do for a while. This sounds about right for the kinds of things the Doctor often gets thrown at him. I treated the Tardis as a plot device/headquarters. And treat the sonic screwdriver as a variable power at rank 1.

Thanks! As a plot device, I figured this was unneccesary. As there has been plenty of times, that the Tardis, has been in dire straits before (and only for the sake of story). But I'll consider it, never know. Specially since i listed it as Equipment. But i think that the Tardis is a special case , and not quite sure where it would fall into. Which is why I made it a "Plot" device.

If it helps any, the TARDIS is not only sapient and self-aware, but also technically far more intelligent and aware of the universe than the Doctor is. Kind of a side-effect of being a hyper-intelligent living space/time ship which does not fully exist in linear time and has a tendency towards mixing up on which point of the timeline she's at. It's also notable that when she refers to other TARDISes while trapped in human form, she considers them her sisters (The Doctor's Wife).

It's almost tempting to say that she herself should be pretty much be statted as a fully-fledged character with a 'piloted' complication.
