Might want to word it a little more careful I think. You said the rank of the attack, maybe the "damage rank" instead would be more appropriate. But it looks like it would work well enough, so he would grow when ever struck by a Rank 7 damaging effect or greater. Question though, does he have to take damage to actually grow, or is getting struck just enough?

That's debatable. In the comics. it seems that when he gets hit with anything he grows. However, in the OHOTMU, it mentions that only when Growing Man would suffer potential damage from a kinetic effect he grows.

You know, ever since the Avengers film, I've been sure that I remembered Agent Phil Coulson being in the comics as the Avenger's liason at one point, but that he was an @$$. It was this guy!
