History: Corazon Valenzuela has never been ordinary; from an early age she began singing and was a major music star by her mid-teens. She never thought she would find something she loved more than making more, yet fate had other plans in store. When she was 15, one of her concerts was attacked by a supergroup of villains, hoping to hold her for ransom.

But the villains met with an unforeseen complication, Valenzuela was gifted with more than a spectacular singing voice. Stress triggered by the attack triggered dormant mutant powers, manifesting energy manipulation abilities. Without even a chance to think, she blasted the bad guys unconscious with flares of glowing blue energy.

She was a media darling, a rock star superhero. She was dubious about this new development, her life already hectic enough with concert tours and appearances. But during those first few months, she realized she could do more than just entertain-she could really help people, using her superpowers in life-changing ways.

Naming herself Sapphire after the blue color of her energy powers, she began fighting crime. This turned out to be exciting and rewarding in ways she never knew before. Learning of Defender looking to start up a new supergroup in New York, she signed up immediately…and has been with the team ever since. Despite juggling singing, personal appearances, acting and crimefighting, she somehow is always available when her teammates need her.

Description: Known to people all over the world from her concerts, music videos, television and movie appearances, and charity work; her beautiful face draws attention. Her deep brown eyes show a playful nature, while she keeps her straight brown hair worn long and usually tied back.

In her public identity as a celebrity, she dresses provocatively, but always at the height of fashion. As a superheroine, she will sometimes try different costume depending on her mood. Her main outfit though is a pair of blue short-shorts and a midriff-baring top, accessorized with blue-white short leather jacket, thigh-high blue high-heeled boots, and blue gloves. Around her neck is often seen a chocker, sometimes set with a sapphire which sometimes sparkle and glow when she uses her powers.

Personality: The most outgoing of the Sentinels, she is seen as the least serious by those who don’t know her. Enjoying living the rock’n’roll high life, she spends a lot of time around the most fashionable places in the world, the most handsome bachelors with her, appearing in movies, performing concerts, and recording new albums.

She is focused on developing her abilities but sometimes can’t resist using her powers in a flashy way. While Corrie loves the spotlight, a small part of her would be happy to just settle down and live a quiet, normal life. But for the time being she just likes to spend an ordinary Sunday at home reading, or going for long walks by herself.

Powers and Abilities: Sapphire is a mutant, one gifted with energy generation and projection abilities. Various tests indicate her cells seem to function as “biological batteries”, absorbing energy from sunlight, motion, and other sources which she instinctively converts, able to release it to cause various effects. She can fire bolts of energy, shield herself with a force-field, and even use her powers to fly. But her mutant physiology is sensitive to radiation and vulnerable to attacks based on light. Her powers manifest with a sapphire-blue color, thus her name.

Tactics: In combat she will usually open with a Sapphire Bolt or Bright Bolt, trying to blind her opponents. She will follow up with a Power Bolt, trying to take them out as quickly as possible. She doesn’t do much tactical thinking, despite Defender trying to teach her other ways to fight.

Due to her reputation and questioning her abilities as a superhero, this has given her more experience than any other Sentinel. Bad guys seem to attack her wherever she goes, either for notoriety of being able to say they fought her or because they are nuts and want her autograph.

History: Raised in a seemingly ordinary suburban home near Detroit, Bethany and her twin sister, Pamela grew up seemingly normal kids. Yet things aren’t always what they seem-her parents were witches, ones devoted to the dark aspect of Hecate, and they groomed their daughters to follow in their footsteps. Pamela, cruel and spiteful even as a child, followed the path without hesitation. But Bethany, kind-hearted and shy, found it disturbing; so she rebelled by being as nice as she could.

The night both girls were to be formally inducted into the Cult of Hecate, things didn’t go as her parents planed. Pamela of course spoke the oaths and performed the blood sacrifices, tying her forever to the dark aspect of Hecate. But Bethany couldn’t do it, as she turned and ran from the horrors she had seen and heard, using her powerful magical gifts to flee her family forever.

She wandered aimlessly for a time, before she came upon Freedom City and to the attention of Eldrich. Taking her on as an apprentice while seeking means to end the threat of the Cult of Hecate, she began to grow more confident but still believing herself “tainted” by her family. She even used her powers to stop some street crimes and save innocent people from peril, finding that she enjoyed helping others.
But these activities drew the attention of old allies of Eldrich, the Alliance, whom he saw as interfering too much in worldly affairs. Yet it was with a heavy heart that Bethany left Eldrich and completed her training while under the care of the Alliance. Content to remain with the Alliance for several years, but eventually she felt a call to help others. She found her way to New York and heard the call from Defender to join the Sentinels. She joined the team in the hope that a group of heroes could accomplish deeds no single superhero could.

The Cult of Hecate continues to pursue her, wishing to reclaim one of her power and making her life difficult in the process. Her sister, now the supervillainess Talisman, who rejected the Cult long ago to seek her own dark path, continued to torment her good twin. Talisman hates her with bitterness born of jealousy, seeking to harm or kill her. She even went so far as to inflicting a curse on Witchcraft, one which leaves her vulnerable to spells of winter. Witchcraft has tried to find ways to lift the curse, but so far without success.

Description: Bethany is a beautiful young woman in her early 20s, with a slender and trim build. Her green eyes are bewitching and she keeps her red hair shoulder-length.

Her clothes vary by mood and environment, shifting them easily and trying to blend in. When engaged in superheroics, she wears a short green tunic with gold piping, a gold belt made of circular links, green slippers, and a green cape lied with gold. She uses a minor glamour to conceal her identity, one which makes those who see her face forget exactly what she looks like.

Personality: Bethany is the least outgoing or outspoken of her team; even after years of superheroing she’s still somewhat shy, preferring to remain in the background. This is just part of her nature, although helping to save the world has improved her confidence and she has become surer of herself. Her romance with Defender has only helped further.

Powers and Abilities: Witchcraft is a naturally gifted practitioner of the arts of magic. Although many of her spells are currently weak, compared to the superhumans around her, she has enormous talent, and as her skill grows so will her power. Her favorite spells, which she relies on the most in combat, are her Greater Witcheries. She almost constantly has a defensive spell called Shield of Sorcery active while in a fight and uses Wings of the Zephirim to aid her maneuverability.

Tactics: She will start off a battle with something relatively harmless, like Fascination, Glamour, or Irresistible Slumber. She will only escalate to more dangerous forces if she must. She will work to aid her teammates anyway she can. While she often gestures and incants when casting spells, she doesn’t have to. She is just used to doing so; she can cast them even when bound and gagged which can catch foes that don’t have experience against her off-guard.

:arrow: A college girl who gained a genie in the form of her transformed ex-boyfriend, she has learned a lot in just a little over a year. If James had never become a genie, she would be just PL 6, 70 PP due to Fortitude and Will.

History: Gina was a geek from an early age, fantasy and science fiction always interesting her. Yet her looks made others think she should be one of the popular kids, a curvy redhead who turned heads. It wasn’t until college she met someone who liked her for her mind, as well as her body. Seeing James, she knew a kindred spirit when she saw one and made the first move, asking him out. Shocked at first, he accepted and they have been together ever since. But James didn’t seem to want to hang out with anyone besides her; she had to pull him along to hang out with her friends instead of just staying in the dorm having their own private movie night for their dates. But finally she able to goad him into going to a frat party, where fate would begin its work.

James had never had a drink in his life and was a lightweight, getting drunk after just 2 cans of beer. Thus Gina tried to get him back to the dorm so he could sleep it off; only being a bit drunk herself they got sidetracked and ended up in the drama department’s prop room. When he found a golden bottle, James joked that he would rub it and a genie would appear, Gina just giggled at him, thinking he was being a goof.

So it shocked her as much as James when yellow smoke began to billow from the bottle and envelop James, transforming him into a busty, redheaded genie, her new body’s lower half made of the same yellow smoke. Yet despite the shock, she thought she could get James back, she just had to rub the bottle again and he would return. But no such thing happened; the transformed James simply asked her “What is your wish, mistress?” Unable to do more, Gina picked up the bottle after asking James to go inside it til they were back at the dorm, where they discussed the situation and what to do next.

Thinking James would be stuck for a while, they came up with the name Jasmine to cover for the new girl. Gina headed out every day during her free time, researching genies and trying to find even a hint of how to return James to his old self. But nothing seemed to work, she tried to wish James had never rubbed the bottle in the first place, nothing happened. She knew she couldn’t wish the genie free, some books said she would simply become a free genie and stuck in her new form, others said the same thing but that Gina would take her place as the genie of the bottle.

So it was a few months, with Gina barely make a wish and leaving Jasmine stuck in the dorm room, out of free of wording a wish wrong or even making matters worse for both of them. Yet one day she overheard a friend talk about an occult shop in Freedom City, they might have information the college library didn’t. Jasmine begged to come along and Gina relented, taking the bottle with her. It proved fortuitous; for they found a portal from another dimension torn wide open in the sky of downtown Freedom City. Pouring forth were armored invaders, their intent obviously hostile.

Thus Gina, fearing for her own life and that of everyone she knew, made a wish, one to send the invaders back where they came from and seal the portal behind them. It worked; it actually worked how she planned! But they weren’t alone, as onlookers gapped at Jasmine and someone called her a Jinni, like out of myth. Lady Liberty arrived and spotted Gina, Jasmine and the bottle Gina held and put two and two together.

Fearing the girl would be swamped by idiots asking for wishes, Lady Liberty took them to Freedom Hall, where she questioned how Gina came into the possession of a genie. The stress of keeping it all in caused the dam to break and she spilled out the whole story, leaving a shocked Freedom League hearing of James’ fate. They promised to help in their search for a way to return James to his old self, along with an offer to train them both as heroes. One so Gina could defend herself, and two, so Jasmine could learn how to control how she grants wishes and doesn’t risk causing a disaster. So over a year later they have officially joined the Freedom League and learned a lot, loving the hero life, saving lives and stopping supervillains. Even if she is getting a bit tired of Daar’s flirting.

Description: Gina is an attractive and curvy young woman, with a light tan. She keeps her dark red hair pinned up with a hair crimp, while her green eyes show an understanding and patient woman.
She likes to wear comfortable clothes, preferring tee-shirts, slacks and simple brown shoes over more “girly” clothes. She tends to wear a button shirt over her tee-shirt but left open, while she wears a tan scarf and has a pair of green lensed goggles for when in fights or just riding her Vespa.

Personality: Gina is an intelligent and patient young woman, trying to understand all view points and keeping an open mind about things. She loves to have fun but knows when to be responsible, protecting children and innocents with her life if needed. She has faced dangers, both with and without Jinn, and has only come out stronger.

Powers and Abilities: Gina is the mistress of Jasmine aka Jinn, thus the only one who can make wishes from her and have them granted. She has used a wish to grant her a magical tattoo which shields her from harm in various ways, both physical and mental. She can have Jinn create gadgets or gear for her as needed but never leaves them laying around when not needed, fearing them falling into the wrong hands.

Since beginning training under the Freedom League members, she has developed combat skills, some acrobatics and greater athletics, and greater skills of observation due to the intense training the Raven has put her through.

Tactics: Gina will keep her distance and try to direct Jinn to aid others and make wishes to the best of her ability based upon the current situation. First order of business is always getting children and innocents out of danger, only then will she use Jinn and her wishes for offense.

History: James grew up a geek, always interested in television and movies more than socializing. It wasn’t until college that he began to open up, when he got lucky. A redheaded beauty named Gina Nelson ended up asking him out freshman year and they have been going out since. Mostly hanging out with her friends or having a private movie night in the dorm, things were going smoothly. Until the night Gina convinced him to go a frat party. James got drunk and on the way back to the dorm they got sidetracked and ended up in the drama departments’ prop room.

Finding a golden bottle, James joked that he would rub it and a genie would appear. Unfortunately for him, he was right. The bottle was empty and had sat undisturbed for years, James was the first to rub it and it wanted a new genie to house. Thus he was a yellow smoke began to billow from the bottle and envelop James, who began to transform into his idea of a genie; that of a busty redhead, her lower body made of smoke.

Gina was shocked by what she saw and bit drunk herself, ended up picking up the bottle and rubbing it to try and get James back. But all it did was cause the transformed James to ask “What is your wish, mistress?” shocked those words came out of his…her mouth. Heading back to the dorm with the bottle and new genie inside, they discussed the situation and what to do, coming up with the name Jasmine to cover for the new girl for the time being. Stuck in the dorm while Gina researched genies, she lived in the bottle and was rarely used for the first few months after the incident, Gina after of wording a wish wrong or making matters worse.

But one day she took the bottle and Jasmine with her out, planning on hitting the local occult shop in hopes of getting answers, when fate stepped in. A portal from another dimension was torn open in the sky of downtown Freedom City, armored invaders beginning to pour through. Fearing for her life and everyone she knew, Gina finally made a wish, allowing Jasmine to send the invaders back through the portal and seal it behind them. Onlookers called Jasmine a Jinni, like out of myth, and Lady Liberty, who had just arrived, spotted her and Gina with the bottle.

Fearing the girl getting swamped by idiots asking for wishes, Lady Liberty took them to Freedom Hall and began to ask about how Gina came to own a genie bottle. Spilling out their whole story, the Freedom League was shocked to hear about the fate of James. Promising to help in their search for a way to return James to his old self, they also offered to train both of them to be heroes, so Gina could defend herself and Jasmine could learn how to control how she grants wishes. Over a year later and still no leads have come up but in the meantime they have both learned to love the hero life, having saved countless lives and even preventing doomsday device from going off.

Description: Jasmine is now stuck as a hot, curvy, busty genie girl with fair skin. Her intense red hair is long and kept in a wide ponytail, while her eyes show a mischievous nature and kindness. She never wears a costume as Jinn [codename she took after hearing what she was called], wearing a belly-baring yellow harem outfit. She can change her clothes at will and even turn into a yellow cloud of smoke, even just leaving her lower body in the form of a wisp of yellow smoke.

Personality: Jasmine, despite being stuck as a female genie, is upbeat and fun-loving. She loves to get out and even sometimes goes on double-dates with Gina, which worries her ex-girlfriend. She is kind, loving children and animals, and will never allow them to come to harm. But if you threaten Gina, any of her friends or the innocent, she will fly into a fury and lash out with whatever she can, barring the wish limitation.

Powers and Abilities: Jinn is now an immortal genie, unable to die and reconstituting in just minutes if her corporeal form is destroyed, able to survive in any environment, unaging and having no vital spots which can be targeted. She can turn her lower body into a yellow smoke, flying with great maneuverability while doing so; she can also transform fully into a yellow smoke form to past through obstacles and ignore physical threats.

But her greatest powers are those of a true genie, able to alter her form at will and grant herself any power at will, along with granting the wishes of her mistress, Gina. These can be virtually anything within the limits her rookie genie powers.

Tactics: In a fight, she was stay near Gina and shield her from harm unless ordered to do otherwise. She will always try to grant Gina’s wishes in the most direct way with no twisting of the wishes. Thanks to past wishes, she knows that Gina can take care of herself and if children are in danger she was seek to protect them first and get them out of the area.

Allies: Freedom League, Gina [ex-girlfriend and mistress]

Enemies: She has made more than a few, including unnamed interdimensional invaders, Taurus [who craves the power of the genie for himself] and even SHADOW.

History: Growing up with a love of reading, school was rarely easy for Danielle due to the taunts and name calling. It wasn’t until college that things turned around for her, as she met the love of her life Sam Sinclair. Dating for several years while they both finished college, they got married right after graduating from their 4th year. And just a few months in were blessed with the news she was expecting their first child.

When Jeremy started elementary school, she went back to work, finding a local business in need of a good bookkeeper. But things would change soon enough, as Sam lost his job after a co-worker framed him for stealing office supplies. He got a job as a security guard and Danielle had to deal more with her bully of an older sister, Karen, along with her bratty nephew, Clark. It wasn’t til her brother-in-law, Adam, came to visiting that things started to turn around. He spent time with Jeremy and helped to cheer up Sam, even deflected some of Karen’s attention away from her.

Trying for once to keep the peace with Karen, she went out on a walk in Central Park, Jeremy and Clark tagging along. Karen was being her usual self, verbally tearing apart Danielle and bragging about her own life, despite her ex-husband being the supervillain Psychofury. It felt like she would never shut up, until a strange wave of energy hit and knocked them all unconscious. Waking up in the hospital, it seemed everyone in Central Park had been hit by the strange energy wave, affecting them each differently. But all of them were okay, even her brother-in-law Sam who had come to the park on his own, and sent home.

Everything was back to normal, with the exception of a new hero in town, Caliburn, and life was good once again, as Sam was made senior security officer at work. Months passed and disaster struck, as a psycho killer from Europe called Killer Avatar claimed Sam as her newest victim. The hero Caliburn hunted the psycho but she escaped, leaving Danielle to raise Jeremy on her own. It would take only one slip up by her brother-in-law Adam for her to figure out he was Caliburn, asking why he hadn’t caught Killer Avatar while crying her eyes out.

They reconciled after she heard the tale of how he lost the love of his life to the same killer, having done everything to take the monster down. But next time he would put Killer Avatar down like the monster she was, the look in his eyes showed he meant it. With some help from Adam over the next year and a half, she was able to take care of Jeremy and keep her job. But the delayed effects of what had been dubbed the “Gene Pulse” finally kicked in, for her and Jeremy, along with Karen and Clark.

Danielle seemed to have god-like strength that seemed to keep growing, Jeremy having a lesser version of her powers. While Karen and Clark became pure powerhouses, with raw strength and toughness, which also seemed to amplify their bullying nature 100 fold. For her first major superhero fight was against her own sister and nephew, calling themselves Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher. While Danielle, to hide her own identity, called herself Infinity and Jeremy, who had tagged along, called himself Kid Sentinel after the local hero team.

The fight left over a city block in ruins, reduced to rubble both due to Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher seeking to cause as much damage as possible, and the inexperience of Infinity and Kid Sentinel. Since then she has trained hard to control her powers and cause as little collateral damage as possible, while Kid Sentinel is still struggling with learning to control the power he wields. They have even fought alongside the Sentinels against threats like Bloodfire and Dragonsbane or Fire Tyrant and his kaiju minions.

Recently her office had her transferred to Freedom City, to get their local branch’s books in order after a recent scandal. Shortly after arriving an unknown individual put her in contact with the Freedom League, where she joined the local branch after their studied her record as Infinity. Due to the kind of damage caused, Clark was placed in the Claremont Academy to learn better control, but that is his story.

Description: Danielle is a very attractive woman, with a curvy figure and healthy tan. She keeps her snow-white hair short and trim, while her blue eyes show an understanding nature and powerful strength of will.

She tends to wear business dress most of the time, with various blouses, skirts and types of shoes. When off-work and able to relax, she wears loose fitting shirts and sweatpants with tennis shoes. As Infinity she wears a white uniform like modified gym wear, wearing a short blue cape, blue gloves with white trim, and white boots.

Personality: Danielle is a woman of two extremes; that of a business woman who must keep her emotions in check and be a professional all the time. And that of a mother and superhero, who must balance her actions based on the situation and who she is facing. She doesn’t like to fight with kids and teenagers, but will do what she has to without causing permanent harm. Off the job, she likes to either spend some time alone reading a good book or working on a new electronics project, or spend time with her son, even going to the mall with him sometimes. She likes the attention of her son’s friends and men who see her, as it reminds her she isn’t that old.

Powers and Abilities: Infinity was changed by the “Gene-Pulse”, her body changed and supercharged with an unknown energy. This energy has given her superhuman stamina and invulnerability, capable of surviving in any environment and resisting injury better than a tank. She can fly at super-sonic speeds or move with superhuman speed, finishing work in seconds that would take an hour or more.

But the greatest change is her ability to tap into this energy, increasing her strength to near-infinite levels. She can hit harder than a battleship’s maingun, tear through the most invulnerable of defenses, brace and keep her from being moved, and even lift the likes of the Great Pyramid of Giza without breaking a sweat. She can hit an opponent to send them flying up to several miles, strike the ground to create a shockwave or slam her hands together to create a thunderclap.

By pushing her current powers she can move large asteroids on her own, hurl things into deep space and strike with what she has dubbed her “Infinity Punch”, capable of destroying even super alloys or defeating some of the most powerful of beings in one punch.

Tactics: She will always seek to protect innocents in the area and get them to safety first, unless the villains are purposefully endangering or attacking them, in which case she will shield them with her own body and strike at her enemies by throwing things in the area at them. If no innocents are in danger, she will strike at the largest threat first and disable him, either with direct attacks or by sending them flying. Lesser threats she will use a thunderclap to leave them easy to pick off or shockwave if it won’t cause too much collateral damage.

New to working on a team, she will try to get a foe in a grab and hold them so her teammates can take them out. Or act to shield her less durable teammates. If dealing with super-tough opponents or threats her normal attacks won’t work against, she will resort to her “Infinity Punch” first, before moving to more creative solutions.

History: Born to a book keeper and office worker, Jeremy was bound to be a bit of a geek. Even from an early age he loved to read, an addiction he shared with his mother. But even at school he could withstand the taunts and teasing, it was when dealing with his cousin Clark that began to take its toll. Clark would push him around and hit him when no one was watching, a bully like his mother but preferring the physical side to verbal.

Finally by the age of 6 he had learned to stand up to Clark, even if it didn’t always go his way. When his uncle Adam finally came to the U.S. to visit when he was 6, he even got taught some basic combat techniques. It was great, spending time with his dad, uncle and mom; even sometimes Karen and Clark would ease off on their bullying. But it was his mother’s idea, to try and keep the peace with her sister, which ended up changing their lives.

Out for a walk in Central Park, he loved to watch the birds and animals at play. Yet the peaceful scene was broke once again by his aunt Karen, bashing his mom and bragging about her own life, despite his uncle being a supervillain, Psychofury! But suddenly the peace was broken when a strange energy wave hit, knocking them all unconscious. He woke up in the hospital, his mom already awake, only to find out nothing worthy of a hospital stay had happened and they were sent home.

Things were back to normal once again, with them avoiding visits with his aunt and cousin for the most part and school improving. Several months passed and disaster struck, as the monster Killer Avatar took his father’s life, not even following her usual m.o. The new hero in town, Caliburn hunted her but she still escaped his clutches. It was when his uncle slipped up and his mom found out Adam was Caliburn that Jeremy had been spying on them from the top of the stairs. He listened to the tale of his uncle losing someone he loved to the monster Killer Avatar. Right then and there Jeremy rushed down and begged to be trained by his uncle, who refused, saying he was too young and he didn’t wish to put him in danger.

Jeremy studied harder and further the training his uncle gave him on his own time, but it wasn’t enough. It was almost a year and half since his father passed, having just turned 9 and the “Gene Pulse” kicked in. He had god-like strength, but on a lesser level than his mother, who took to calling herself Infinity. In fact, he had all of the powers his mom did but on a lesser level for some reason. Meanwhile his Aunt Karen and cousin Clark became pure powerhouses, empowered with raw strength and toughness, allowing them to be even bigger bullies than before. His first major superhero fight alongside his mom was against his own aunt and cousin, calling themselves Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher. Jeremy took the name Kid Sentinel, after the new hero team his uncle was a part of, while his mother called herself Infinity.

Unfortunately the fight didn’t go too well, despite them beating Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher. An entire city block was reduced to rubble, as his aunt and cousin sought to cause as much damage as possible, but some of it was due to him and his mother’s lack of experience. Thus from that point on his mother tried to drill into him the importance of learning control and causing as little collateral damage as possible.

He is still struggling to learn this lesson, still causing a lot of collateral damage in fights, especially against his cousin. Even fighting alongside the Sentinels against the likes of Bloodfire and Dragonsbane or Fire Tyrant and his kaiju, he tended to cause more damage than the foes he faced. So when his mom was transferred to Freedom City and they were put in contact with the Freedom League, he was overjoyed. He thought he would get to fight alongside them, but due to his age and lack of control he was sent to Claremont Academy, in the hopes he would learn better control.

Description: Jeremy is a boy with fairly average looks, who hasn’t grown into his body just yet and has fair skin unlike his mother. He keeps his blond hair short with long bangs, while his blue eyes show intelligence behind them.

His normal means of dress are in tee-shirts most of time, with blue being his favorite color, along with blue jeans and tennis shoes for comfort. In both identities, he wear a pair of glasses due to needing them in the past, despite his transformation years ago fixing his vision. As Kid Sentinel he wears a costume designed to withstand the rigors of what he is exposed to and battle damage. A mixture of white, black and blue with blue trim, gloves are black with blue on top, he wears a long blue cape so it will flow behind him in flight, and his boots are blue.

Personality: Jeremy is a smart young man who is sociable and tries to get along with others. He is dedicated to his studies and rarely goes out partying, even if he could sneak away from Claremont to do so. He loves to send time outdoors and watch animals. But when in a fight he becomes focused on winning and tends to not notice how much damage he does to the environment, especially when facing his cousin Kid Crusher.

Powers and Abilities: Kid Infinity was changed by the “Gene Pulse”, his body changed and supercharged with an unknown energy. The energy has given him superhuman stamina and invulnerability, capable of surviving in any environment and resisting injury better than a tank. He can fly upwards of 500 mph or run at the same speeds, able to move with superhuman speed and finish work in seconds that would take an hour or more.

But the greatest change is his ability to tap into this energy, increasing his strength to god-like levels. He can hit harder than a tank, tear through invulnerable defenses, and even lift an aircraft carrier. He can hit an opponent to send them flying up to several miles or strike the ground to create a shockwave. He is currently only tapping into a fraction of his full potential, possibly being able to become even more powerful than his mother with time and training.

Tactics: Kid Sentinel doesn’t use real tactics that much, simply jumping into the fray and hitting hard to stop opponents. He prefers to not send them flying unless given no other choice against opponents who just won’t go down. Against large groups he will use his shockwave to leave them stunned, mopping up the tougher opponents. Against opponents who prove too tough for him to hurt normally, he will focus on power over accuracy but becomes like a bull in a china shop when doing so, breaking things around him more often than hitting his true target.

When facing his cousin Kid Crusher, he will go all out and hit hard, taking out his frustration for all the years of being bullied. Unfortunately he also has less control when doing so and tends to cause even greater collateral damage in such fights.

History: Karen was a happy little girl, at least for the first 2 years of her life. Til her little sister, Danielle, was born. She was jealous of all the attention Danielle got, taking attention away from her. To the point she became obsessed at an early age with tormenting her to pay her back. She verbally abused her sister from the moment she could walk and talk, always putting her down and trying to break her. It backfired, big time.

For Danielle simply tried harder to get her sister to like her and applied herself in school. Eventually in high school she found her perfect match, Frank Luthor. A guy who was buff, attractive and as big a bully as she was. Thus she took to spending as much time with him as possible, sneaking out and going to parties she was forbid from at every chance. While her sister went off to college, she was already married.

It would be several years before young Clark was born, taking more after his mother than his father. She spoiled him rotten and he came to expect to get his way, bullying others when he didn’t; along with his father teaching him to be tough, this resulted in their son being a huge brat and bully. Karen was shocked when she discovered her husband was the new supervillain, Psychofury, who hit the scene. At first she looked up to him, living vicariously through his stories. But soon her jealousy got to her once more and she couldn’t stand him being superhuman and not her.

So when young Clark was just 6 years old, she divorced him and got custody of Clark, as Frank’s identity as Psychofury as public knowledge by then. For years she would only visit her sister, along with her new brother-in-law and nephew, to try and keep the peace for their mother’s sake. It was on one of those visits, on a trip out to Central Park, where fate seemed to step in. For when the “Gene Pulse” knocked them out, it set in motion a series of events which would change all their lives forever.

After this incident she kept her distance from her sister and her family, focusing all her attention on Clark and keeping a job for more than a month. So it came as a bit of a shock 2 years later when she suddenly grew several inches and filled out with muscles. She accidently leveled a building when she staggered back into it, her strength beyond anything she ever imagined. Now she had the power she had been jealous of! Now she could teach her sister a lesson she would never forget. It came as little news when Clark had a similar transformation and they took up the names Miss Disaster and Kid Crusher, going on a rampage in downtown New York.

This backfired big time, as he own sister and nephew showed up, somehow with no disguises and not recognized by anyone but them. Yet flying and possessing powers to rival their own! It was a knockdown, drag out fight which left an entire city block in ruins before the two fled, not wishing to be locked up. It would be the first of many fights between them.

Recently her sister was relocated by her work to Freedom City; her son thought they would have free reign in New York with only the Sentinels and a few local heroes to deal with. But no, she wouldn’t let her sister get away from her that easily. Thus they moved as well, following her sister and continuing to cause them trouble.

Description: Karen is a buff woman, with muscles most female bodybuilders would have to work for, yet still feminine in appearance. She keeps her black hair short, so as not to get in the way during a fight, and her blue eyes show a cruelty honed over years.

She never wears a disguise and is normally seen in her trademark white sleeveless muscle shirt, the bottom half torn off to show her abs, a pair of black jeans with suspender straps to hold them up, a pair of black gloves and tough black combat boots.

Personality: Karen is abrasive and cruel, tearing apart others verbally as much as she does physically. She has been a natural bully from a young age, jealous of the attention her younger sister got and obvious intelligence which she herself lacked. But her transformation caused her to extend this bullying nature to more than verbal, striking out at the world to force them to respect her. The only individual she cares about is her son, Clark, who she dotes on and spoils every chance she can get.

Powers and Abilities: Miss Disaster is a powerhouse, able to hit with enough force to crush titanium and tear apart super alloys. She is capable of lifting entire buildings, tearing them from the ground. She is capable of leaping upward of 250 feet or running at up to 120 mph, few can escape her grasp. She can cut loose and nothing can resist the force she unleashes when doing so, able to slam the ground and create destructive shockwave and plow through anything, only being slowed down but never stopped.

She possesses superhuman stamina and invulnerability to the point it takes weapons stronger than tank shells to harm her. And just hitting her is a bad idea, as it is like hitting a solid iron wall. She doesn’t care about collateral damage and is known to lift up and throw anything from manhole covers and chunks of concrete, to semi-trucks and buses as weapons.

Tactics: She seeks to cause as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time. When first starting a rampage, she will smash up the street and anything within reach. When forced to face superheroes, she hits them with everything she has, using brutal tactics and cheap shots, including chokeholds, to take them out. She doesn’t even care if she kills them or not, as long as she wins. When working alongside her son, Kid Crusher, she will watch his back and anyone who targets him will face her full fury.

:arrow: A spoiled brat who became a bully, his own parents encouraged him to be tough and do what he liked. Gaining superpowers has only made him worse, as he now fights alongside his mom in destructive rampages, always running away before they lose so they won’t get locked up.

History: Clark was born to Frank and Karen Luthor, a pair of bullies who believed that life owed them something, for different reasons. He was spoiled by his mother constantly, while his father taught him to be tough, turning him into a bully just like them. At the age of 4, he found out his dad was the supervillain Psychofury and he wanted to be just like him. Yet around 2 years later his mom left his dad, telling him that his dad was being selfish and not sharing his power with them.

So it would be that he and his mom were on their own, him barely getting through school without flunking out, his mom trying to hold down a job for more than a month. They would visit from time to time with his aunt, uncle and cousin, but these visits were always short and almost never pleasant. At least their last visit they got to go to Central Park, hanging outside and while the mothers were distracted he could pick on Jeremy.

When suddenly he felt like he was hit by a brick and passed out, only to awaken in the hospital. An unknown energy wave had hit Central Park and everyone had been affected; his mother took him home after their release and he never saw his aunt or cousin for a couple years after that. At the age of 9, he suddenly had a growth spurt and gained muscles only seen on older guys! He was a superhuman now, along with his mom, and they could teach everyone a lesson in fearing and respecting them!

Going on a rampage in downtown New York with his mom, it wasn’t long before his aunt and cousin showed up, in costumes no less. They were flying and had powers to rival their own, life still wasn’t fair! Thus they fought, Clark with a jealous rage as he tried to put his cousin in traction, only to be forced to flee with his mom as the fight turned against them. Yet they had made a name for themselves, leaving an entire city block in ruins. And they would have plenty of other chances to fight their relatives in the future.

But each time they were outmatched by Infinity and Kid Sentinel, forced to flee before other heroes arrived or the authorities could capture them in their weakened state and lock them up. They even fought some members of the Sentinels a few time, only to be forced to flee much faster from being outnumbered. So when his aunt and cousin moved to Freedom City recently, he thought it would give them better odds. Only to have his mom say they were moving to Freedom City as well, not letting her sister get away. So they have become the newest threat to the citizens of Freedom City, with the new Freedom League members taking them down each time and forcing them to flee. But Clark knew it wouldn’t always be this way, they would get the upper hand one of these days.

Description: Clark is an attractive young man with a muscular build, rippling with power. He has a healthy tan and the only visible being on his lower right cheek. He keeps his black hair short and mussed, while his blue eyes show a cruelty and temper strong for his age. He always wears a muscle shirt, black or gray, a black pair of jeans, a tough pair of tennis shoes, and a brown leather jacket.

Personality: Clark is a bully, raised to always expect to get his own way and that only the tough survive. He pushes others around in any way he can, intimidating them with threats and physical shows of strength. He only truly cares about his mom, doing anything she asks and protecting her with his life.

Powers and Abilities: Kid Crusher is a powerhouse, able to hit with enough force to dent titanium and wreck tanks easily. He is capable of lifting massive objects, as well as throwing even tanks up to a quarter of a mile. He is capable of leaping upward of 100 feet or running at up to 60 mph, few can escape his grasp. He can cut loose and nothing can resist the force he unleashes when doing so, or slam the ground and create destructive shockwave.

He possesses superhuman stamina and invulnerability to the point it takes at least tank shells to harm him. And just hitting him is a bad idea, as it is like hitting a solid iron wall. He doesn’t care about collateral damage and is known to lift up and throw anything from manhole covers and chunks of concrete, to semi-trucks and buses as weapons.

Tactics: Like his mother, Kid Crusher seeks to cause as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time. Smashing up streets, cars, buildings, anything is a target on one of their rampages. When facing superheroes, he will tag-team with his mom to first take out any threats which can actually harm them, leaving the wimps for later. He never holds out, striking with as much power as possible while still having a chance to hit his foe, crushing all who oppose him. When working alongside his mom, Miss Disaster, he does whatever she says to and he will lash out at anyone who actually harms her.

Description: The victims and now minions of Splicer, they have all been transformed into human-animal hybrids and brainwashed to be loyal to him, except for the few which escape. They will obey his orders without question and tend to go out in groups of 10-20 at a time to bring back more “test subjects” for Splicer. Their human-animal forms vary, from avian-like falcons, hawks and owls; carnivoran such as cats, including big cats, dogs, coyotes, foxes and wolfs; elephant and rhino chimeras with raw strength and power; and reptilian chimeras in the form of crocodile-like, lizard-like and sometimes snake-like in form, their upper body retaining human limbs. He has yet to create insect or arachnid chimeras, either due to repeated failures or just preferring not to.

:arrow: A deadly creature of unknown origin, it can adapt new attacks and defenses to deal with any opponent. It has killed more than a few low-level metahumans and even some big names.

History: The origin of the creature known as Dread Hunter are unknown. Various theories include: An alien lifeform engineered by those in power to kill metahumans who became a threat, example escaped from Curator’s ship to Earth; creation of mad scientist to take out threats to his plans; victim of Chaos Virus or the Wildstrike event; creature from another dimension drawn here by large number of metahumans. Whatever the truth of the matter is, the Dread Hunter is a threat to metahumans and anyone else who gets in its way.

It seems to be able to literally smell out metahumans and track them, slaying them as part of a genetic imperative. Various low-level metahumans have been killed since it first appeared in 2002, with the biggest name victim being Glacier, who it killed in early 2003 with napalm breath. It is still at large and governments have given orders to capture if possible, kill on sight if potential for escape is too high.

Description: Dread Hunter appears to be a squat humanoid with short black fur and taunt muscles. Its face is covered almost completely by black fur which spreads out into a mane, its eyes are pure yellow and glow when detecting a metahuman, has a pair of flat nostril slits, and a mouth full razor-sharp fangs. Its hands have 3 fingers and thumb, each ending a deadly clawed talon, while its feet are two-toed and end in a deadly claw.

Personality: Dread Hunter is a savage creature, lashing out at anything which stands in its way while on the hunt. It acts even more feral when stalking metahuman prey, fighting like a berserker and not caring for its own safety, as long as it can kill its target.

Powers and Abilities: Dread Hunter seems to be a unique creature or possibly the last of its kind, a monstrous humanoid just above an animal in intellect and riven by instinct. Somehow, either through evolution or by design, it has become adapted to hunting metahuman prey. Its sense of smell can track prey for miles, even accurately able to target metahumans through sense of smell alone. It can see in pitch black and other areas of pure darkness; cannot be tracked by visual senses or through vibrations in the ground, and climb any surface using its claws.

It can subsist on any food, having a cast iron stomach; survive in extreme cold and heat thanks to insulating fur; and tear through nearly anything with its claws and fangs. It seems completely immune to conventional illness and doesn’t appear to age, along with being highly resistant to any form of poison and only needing 4 hours of sleep a day. It is incredibly fast and agile, capable of superhuman leaps and running at speeds over 100 mph. It heals rapidly from injury and is highly durable.

But its most dangerous power against metahumans is the ability to adapt new attacks designed to target an opponents’ weaknesses and protect it from their strengths. Examples include gaining immunity to cold descriptor and fire-based attacks when facing cold-wielder; nullify when facing an opponent with size-altering powers; immunity against mental powers when facing a psychic. It must will itself to adapt powers by simple concentration and doesn’t have control over what it will adapt.

Tactics: The Dread Hunter will seek to adapt to the most dangerous metahuman present and slay them, before moving onto weaker metahumans. It instinctively knows how to use any powers it adapts and knows what it is capable of. It will always pick metahuman targets over others present, its natural hatred for them driving it to destroy them.

Enemies: Metahumans naturally hate the Dread Hunter, it radiates a field of hostility towards them which they can intuitively sense.

Weakness: A flaw in his design means any electricity-based attack leave him dazed for 1 round, as his systems attempt to adjust to the overload.

:arrow: The original prototype for Keres which Talos created, it proved too free-willed to control and somehow immortal like its creator.

History: The original prototype for Keres created by Talos, he underestimated his own programming skills and made it free-willed. It proved to see its master as thinking too much in the long-term and saw humans as a threat to machine-kind which should be dealt with immediately. Talos saw him as a failure and attempted to take him apart, only to have the robot spontaneously rebuild itself. He had created an immortal machine like himself! Now he wished to take the machine apart to understand how he had accomplished this, only to have the rebellious “child” of his escape with plans of its own.

Since then it has stalked humans, from small towns and rural areas, to big cities and beyond. He has slain dozens of humans, each time forced to flee when superheroes confronted him. Using his unlimited arsenal of morphic weaponry, he has crushed, dismembered and impaled numerous humans; even some minor superheroes have fallen to him. And he won’t stop until all humanity is eradicated.

Description: Bone Stalker appears to be a human, his features hidden by an armor of leather lamellar, including arm and leg guards, and a hood. He hides his average looking face behind a skull mask, lacking a mouth to add to the creep factor. He tends to have a kunai or knife on him, along with a sword strapped to his back, actually part of his morphic weaponry.

Personality: An unfeeling machine, he only feels hatred for humans and is driven by this hatred to seek out and exterminate all he finds. He is completely fearless and will only flee from battle is facing a losing battle, planning for another day. Note he considers any encounter with Talos to be a losing battle and will withdraw immediately.

Powers and Abilities: Bone Stalker is an advanced robot, immortal due to unknown design components. He is stronger than most humans and tougher than a tank, his body repairing any damage over time. Even is destroyed he will rebuild within a day to full functionality. His eyes are designed to see in any lighting and pitch black conditions, have telescopic capability and he has an internal chronometer.

He has a database of virtually every known language, able to speak and understand them. His body includes several nanite-based morphic units that can take on the form of any melee weaponry known to him. He is a deadly fighter, hunter and tracker, along with programed stealth skills where he can fade into the shadows or out of sight even when observed.

Tactics: Bone Stalker will stalk his prey from a distance until he can get them alone and in a secluded location. Then he will strike from ambush and attempt to slit their throat immediately; failing to kill with his first strike, he will move to hit and run tactics to wear his foe[s] down. Opponents impervious to his attacks will find him a skilled grappler who will try to put them into a lethal chokehold. When facing multiple opponents, he will divide and conquer, striking at the most vulnerable target first to reduce the threat of more powerful foes. If he begins to lose, he will sink into the shadows/background and disappear, planning to fight them another day with the odds in his favor.

Enemies: Talos seeks to capture and study his wayward creation to discover the secret of creating immortal machines; both the Knights For a Pure Mankind and P.U.R.G.E. seek to capture and contain this monster, if not figure out a way to destroy him.

:arrow: An assassin with a moral code, the reasons for not taking a job are unknown but seem to include targeting any children, targeting family/friends of superheroes, and any job where he is asked to kill non-targets to cover up the crime.

History: Bloodshot has been making a name for himself in the criminal underworld for over a decade now and yet no one really knows what he looks like or his true identity. Constantly hidden behind a mask with reflective goggles built-in, always wearing gloves and clothes which completely cover him; it would take micro-bots able to go under clothes to get a DNA sample to identify him. Yet reports also indicate he won’t accept a contract without having full disclosure by the client first. Orion and various other assassins have taken on jobs he has rejected for his own reasons.

Description: Bloodshot is a man of athletic build and average height. Due to his manner of dress while on the job, his hair and eye color are unknown except to him, even his fingerprints haven’t been found at the scene of an assassination. He tends to wear full black outfits, including a pair of gloves, a long trench coat, and a black mask with build in reflective goggles. His belt has various tools, mostly to keep his sniper rifle in top condition.

Personality: Bloodshot comes off as a pure professional to those who deal with him; his mask helps but he never shows any emotion while in negotiations. Attempts to intimidate, manipulate or seduce him into a better deal have all failed. Many wonder if he is even human.

Powers and Abilities: Bloodshot has catlike balance, able to land safely on his feet from any fall, able to make incredible leaps and perform feats of superhuman agility and acrobatics. He has a customized sniper rifle: it has standard bullets for most jobs; powerful explosive bullets either to take out obstacles or for multiple targets; bullets which release a cloud of knockout gas; tracer bullets that can home in on their target; and bullets made out of a super-alloy to harm even impervious targets. He is skilled and able to fire off a barrage of bullets in less than a second, either to hit one target several times or multiple targets.

He is a weapons designer specialized in sniper rifles, having created his own and designed custom bullets. He is highly trained in the use of sniper rifles, preferring them to all other firearms. He sometimes has other custom bullets made [a power stunt which gives heroes facing him a Hero Point.].

Tactics: Bloodshot will always stake out the best location to take out his target from; even spending days or longer to gauge all the assets they have at their disposal. Normal targets he will use standard bullets against, never wasting the good stuff. If forced to deal with individuals who are not part of his contract, he will use knockout gas bullets to subdue them or knock down walls with explosive bullets to prevent them from following him. Fast or agile targets he always uses tracer bullets on, better chance to taking them out. Only superhuman targets invulnerable to normal bullets earn the right to face his super-alloy bullets, rarely used due to the expense of crafting them.

Allies: He has no known allies, although he can possibly call on past employers for help.

Enemies: Crimson Boss has a contract out on him, for him taking out several of his lieutenants, despite him being hired by someone else.

Madness: The axe’s curse has driven him into madness and sometimes he can’t tell the difference between what is real and what he imagines.
Power Loss: If he doesn’t do as the mysterious individual who gave him his mystic tattoo ask, he can lose the powers of the Mystic Tattoo until he givens into the individual’s demands. He retains the same powers from the Axe of the Titans, but those can be snatched away.

:arrow: The ex-husband of Miss Disaster and father of Kid Crusher, he has been driven into madness by the axe’s curse and his actions are unpredictable now.

History: Frank Luthor was on top of the world, college scholarship due to being linebacker in high school, sweetheart who has similar interest [they both liked bullying others], and being basically untouchable. Yet after high school, he could only find construction work, digging or carrying heavy loads. The news of his son impending arrival changed thing for them all, as he tried to spend more time at home with his wife and son but work kept dragging him away. When young Clark was old enough, he started pushing him to be tough, just like his own father had done to him.

But it was a strange inheritance from a relative he never met which would change his life, and not for the better. The axe was a mystical artifact of unknown origin, and it empowered him with strength like unto the titans of old, strength which few could match and the power to do anything he wished. Tempted by the power, he turned to a life of crime, stealing to support his family but all the while ignoring his wife’s growing jealousy of his powers. Less than a year after gaining what he dubbed the Axe of the Titans, his wife said he had enough and filed for divorce, revealing his crimes to the court and lying about how she kept it secret in fear over the safety of her and their son.

Now a wanted man and on the run most of the time, the axe’s cursed nature combined with the stress drove him deeper into madness. He became more reckless and started reacting to thing that weren’t there, which lead to his downfall and Infinity and Kid Sentinel subdued him during his most recent rampage. But even locked up and separated from his source of power, he wasn’t alone. An unknown figure had been watching him and came to him with an offer. Do whatever he ask and the power will never be stripped from him again. Frank agreed and the stranger touched his right shoulder, in a flash a tattoo of a pair of black wings appeared and faded.

And the power of the axe became his once more, without the axe in his hands. Breaking free, he recovered the axe and fled into the night, least local superheroes capture him again and place him somewhere his powers can’t help him escape from. Since he has done what the stranger asked, although the axe’s curse still drives him further into madness. Most of the time he is too out of it to think clearly, lashing out at imaginary threats and reacting to things only he can perceive. But those rare times of lucidity, he remembers why he started doing all this and just has to do an old fashioned robbery.
Description: Frank is a powerfully built man, standing 6’ tall and rippling with muscles. His eyes have become pure white with a slight glow to them, thanks to his continued use of the Axe of the Titans; his brown hair somehow stands up almost like Vegeta’s from Dragonball Z. He has several scars on his arms and chest, mostly gained from his high school days on the football team.

He doesn’t even try to hide his identity and wears a green shirt, a pair of green gloves extending down his forearm, a pair of camouflage jeans and black boots. The mystic tattoo is hidden from normal sight and appears as a pair of black wings on his right shoulder to those who can see mystic energy. He always has the Axe of the Titans on him, a simple dual-headed battle axe made of enchanted iron, the handle being black and some steel to hold the axe head in, with a green gem of unknown origin on it.

Personality: Frank used to be an intense man who would do anything for the big score, but also caring and loved his wife and son. He would work out for hours a day to keep in shape and spent some time as a construction worker after graduating high school to support his new family. But the axe’s curse has driven him to madness, sometimes not able to tell the difference between what is real and what is imagine and acting upon what he perceives.

Powers and Abilities: Psychofury originally gained all his powers from the Axe of the Titans, a creation of Archimago’s, strangely enough who was a distant cousin to him. The Axe empowered him with strength equal to the Titans and invulnerability capable of standing with the most powerful of superhumans. He could survive in any environment and fly at supersonic speeds while holding onto the axe.

Now thanks to an unknown individual and the mystic tattoo he imbued upon him, he retains those power even when separated from the axe, as long as he does what the mysterious individual ask of him. The only power he doesn’t have without the axe now is the very blade of the axe head itself, superhumanly sharp and capable of cutting through nearly anything.

Tactics: He is unpredictable and strikes at either foes which have hurt him or a perceived threat only he sees. He will fight like a berserker and throw away any semblance of defense, all in the name of destroying a threat. He has some lucid moments and in those he will fight more skillfully, targeting obvious objects of power and taking out lesser threats first.

Allies: Only his son, Kid Crusher, cares to help him out and even then only when his father is lucid.

Enemies: His ex-wife, Miss Disaster, will use almost any excuse to beat up on him, still jealous of the powers he has.

Hard drive crashed almost 2 weeks ago and lost everything on it without warning, foolishly never backed up. Thus got new computer tower last Wednesday, having to redownload all PDFs and work on things I planned to post from memory as best I can. So it will be a while until I post anything new. :|
