Some people don't take El Salto seriously because of his condition.Temper
El Salto does not tolerate comments about his moustache, size, or anything else.Motivation: Greed
Robert wants the finer things in life and he doesn't want to work for them.Secret
His identity as Roberto Olivares.Lothario
El Salto seemingly cannot stop himself from hitting on any woman he comes across, even in the middle of a fight.
•All his life, Robert Olivares was mocked because of his dwarfism. It was hard for him to make friends, hard for him to even get a job, and so his bitterness towards society drove him to crime. His small size and natural agility actually made him very good at certain underhanded jobs, so he was soon in high demand as a thief-but he still felt like people thought less of him. He couldn't even be a great cat burglar because all the climbing was hard for him-so he developed spring boots to help his already impressive jumps get him wherever he needed to go. He became El Salto, the Leapfrog, not just another thief but something else, a figure that would be larger than any other thief, no matter their size.
•El Salto is basically Mexican Batroc with Dwarfism, but that's a cool enough concept by itself. In the Crinoverse, he teamed up with Batroc and his Brigade, before striking out on his own to prove he's no one's sidekick. Not really a violent guy, El Salto is still pretty handy in a fight, and has a neat little area attack to represent bouncing among his enemies. Not really a bad man, Roberto could be turned to the side of the angels if PCs are willing to give him a chance and make the effort-he'll be resistant because his inferiority complex has made him very sensitive and short-tempered, but it could still be a nice victory for the heroes without them having to just beat someone up.
