COMPLICATIONS
Obsession:
Duvall seeks a means to become truly immortal.
Predictable: Duvall has one tactic – to transform his foe into stone. If he cannot reach his target, he grabs a hostage, transforms them, and threatens to shatter the hostage. Against lesser opponents, he tends to use brute force.

Note: Duvall did not accidentally happen upon his powers, as in the comic. Instead, he developed the process from exposure to an alchemical formula found in an old manuscript written by Diablo. Duvall seeks Diablo’s other works to gain knowledge of his immortality elixir.

Worry not, my friends. I still have much Marvel madness to share.

I've been distracted lately with art projects.

Nice Grey Gargoyle- I went and edited my own build of him to match up some of this- I didn't know a bunch of that stuff about how his powers worked.

Amusingly enough, I have been reading the Essentials series. I recently picked up the first of the Thor set, and Grey Gargoyle first appears there. He does some wild things with his powers!

My only question is about Griffin's intelligence. 0 seems high for a mindless engine of destruction, so I wondered what your reasoning was behind that.

Despite the "mindless engine of destruction" descriptor, Griffin does not fight mindlessly. He uses his powers to the best of his abilities and takes advantage of situations when he can. I've evn seen him be sneaky once or twice (laying in ambush for a hero).

Reputation: Smear campaign by J. Jonah Jameson.
Secret Identity: Peter Parker.

:!: In last night's session, Ingrid (Captain Aryan) tried to prove she was a real hero by taking out the worst of the masked vigilantes in New York City: Spider-Man! *snicker* She had been following his movements for the last several weeks and finally tracked him down to a rooftop on the Upper East Side. Ingrid started to engage him in battle. It went... badly for her. Here is some of the banter recorded for posterity:

Spider-Man: "You know, miss, the whole black leather look went out with the '90s. And the armband is not helping your situation. Maybe we can talk this out?"

Captain Aryan: "Talk! I'm not here to talk, Spider-Man! I will prove them all wrong! When I bring you in, Jameson will tell the people what I have done! Then they will love me!"

Spider-Man: "Jameson? Jameson hired a Nazi? Not likely!"

Captain Aryan: "I'm no common mercenary! I am a hero! I am... I am..."

Spider-Man: "Hero? Hero!?! Have you seen your outfit, lady? You have 'I'm the bad guy' stitched to your ARM!"

Later, when Ingrid went to find comfort from her defeat, she spoke with some of her "friends" from Heroes For Hire. Once she mentioned Spider-Man, all they could do was laugh! It was not a good day for Ingrid.

It was a great session, though!
