I'm interested in playing, I'm a gamer with 20 years plus gaming experience but I've played in a Skype game but sounds great I'd love too... I'd really love to get into this, do you guys still have room? I have one HUGE favor to ask which is can we play at the same time but on Wednesdays? I live and work in Los Angeles, CA and Monday and 10pm GMT/4pm CST in my time zone is 2pm (PST) smack dab in the middle of my work day at the office but Wednesdays I'm off... I apologize for the request and I'm just one person so if you cannot accommodate no worries I don't blame you but if you can great, just let me know either way, thanks :)

We definitely have room for one or two more, Though as it would be unfair of me to just change it Im going to see what the other players say about it. That said this is hopefully the first of many similar games i hope to run and you're always welcome to apply for them.

Wednesday would be fine for me. My Skype ID is robertcarey1991.

Assuming the living cartoon character idea is OK for this game, here is the current statblock for him:

Identity: Toon's parents have no idea that their son is a cartoon-themed super and, considering how little they approve of his TV-watching habits, he intends to keep it that way.
Motivation (Thrills): Prior to receiving his powers, Toon was amused by cartoon characters using their various gags like pies, dynamite and falling anvils. Now that he can actually use them himself, he wants to recreate what he has seen on TV.

Looks grand to me. there are No house rules at the moment, due to my unfamiliarity with the system i think i'd need to run up against rules i don't like before making any changes so i'd know how to change them.

Hi I'm new to M&M and only recently have started looking through the material. Wondering if you guys are still inviting others and also what limits or suggested themes there are for this campaign. I have concepts that could be a few of the origins, though I don't want to make concrete decisions till I know what, if any, of the origins are restricted. If I'm too late to join, then best of luck to all of you. :)

We have room for one more, and our first planned game is next wednesday, there are no origins i feel need particularly restricting as such, though feel free to hit us up with your ideas and if i have a problem i will suggest an alternative.

Well looking at my back catalog of hero concepts and most of them are at least partially tech-based or natural. The one problem I'm having is I'm not sure what type I should go with as I don't want to make a character and it use similar powers to another in terms of mechanics.

I have two concepts I think I can make fairly well, though if neither fits then I'll think of another concept

1: 'Doctor' Chet; Half-Doctor, Half-scientist. He's pragmatic, emotionally cold, and hyper-critical of others. His powers are focused on using technology to create machines to assist with a blend of biological chemical-based substances to debilitate goons. All that he uses from his power-suit and other supplies he carries on hand.

He is also, of course, knowledgeable in treating others and fixing up things. His role is very much that of support like leaving areas closed off with chemicals and covering others with his machines, though he can still hold his own. His motivation is a responsibility to use his skills for a better, long-term good, his complications are secret (his own skills used for evil knowingly in the past) Power-loss (most of his abilities come from tech/his suit).

2: Agent Salazar; A man that's gone from military, terrorist, to 'hero'. He is protective of those he works with, serious, and focused. He relies on his own combat experience, armor suit, a long-range rifle, duel-pistols, and mobility with a bit of stealth. He is constantly struggling with his past deeds, from going AWOL to freelance merc and eventually working as a hired-agent for a terrorist group. Of course, leaving all that behind makes a lot of enemies for someone, especially one who worked closely with them.

While in the past he has done what it takes to get the job done, he struggles to make up for his misdeeds and ensure the things are done right and not just with cold-efficiency. His role is focused on ranged damage and infiltration. His Motivation is Doing Good, complications are secret (Worked with terrorist organization), Enemies (Previous agents, mercs, assassins, and terrorists he worked with).

If any or both of these concepts fits, I'll look further into selecting one of these two unless you need me to fill in one of those or another type role specifically. I, of course, can think of and use other concepts if these aren't appropriate.
