Character Image Resources

looking for good character images:
Here you go. Please add more links to this thread if you know of any.

Since GR has a license and JonL was looking for images, Jon go to this site to find some. You have the legal right to reprint them if they are DC. The Darkseid image you picked for the core 3e book was good, but I think a better Flash pic is out there without all of that lighting around him. Sure someone out there likes that but I don't and if I'm going to use images for Herolab I wanted clean images without such. Still you might find what your looking for here whatever your purpose.

No complaint here. Good images. However, I didn't see any hero images...or am I looking in the wrong place on the site for those?

There is a hero equivalent to that site. Let me fish around for it, but if someone finds it please post it. Yes there is a companion site if memory serves for heros.

By characters I might have meant 'villains' and npc's. The ones a GM makes to interact with heros and possibly due combat with them.

There is a collection of supers images here:

I have gathered them from near and far on the Interwebs, and are being hosted by a fellow member of another forum.

For more video-game and anime-based campaigns, I frequently shop around the "booru" sites. Advance warning, almost all of these sites are NSFW and may actually be illegal in your location depending on how enlightened your laws are regarding non-photographic pornography. Gelbooru works nicely for my purposes. I generally find a pretty decent image or two, and then use Gimp to weld together the parts I want. It's what I used for the pictures for Magical Pretty Princess Loli-Chan and Prinny Y.

Huh. Do you know of any websites that feature 1940-1960 character images?
