It's been a while since I've seen you around here!

I tried opening the pdfs in the GL section, and Adobe says they're damaged and beyond repair. Even though I don't know if I still have my DCU d6 game rules around anymore, and if so where, I'd really like to see those, especially the ones by Mr. Kenson and good ol' CSABadass.

It has been a while, sir. Moved away, went to college, stuff.

Thanks for spotting that! I've reuploaded the PDFs, let me know if it works, pretty please?

Working fine now. Makes me wish I could find where I put those rules, much as the game failed to impress me at the time. (I'm still convinced I must not have understood the system.)

Are you going to eventually add an M&M 2e section?

DC Universe was very hit and miss. Later sourcebooks brought improvement, but I think a second edition would have given us a far more solid, compact game. Love the symbol dice, still have 'em.

As for creating a M&M 2ed section, why not? If anyone submits stuff, I'll put it up. I do have a few 2nd ed writeups written... 3-4 years ago? My, time flies.

You have me tempted to start working on my old project of creating a system to recreate a MEGS write-up into a M&M 2e write-up. I had so much preliminary done on that ... and the machine it was on died and took those files with it. If I ever do get that worked out, I'll start shooting stats at you like crazy!

Thanks Sidious!

I won't be able to make changes until Thursday because of internet issues, but I will look into it ASAP.

Well, with today's announcement, I guess I don't need to work out those DCU to M&M stats after all ...

... however, now that I've seen Green Lantern and Black Avenger write-ups for 3rd edition, I'm realizing that some of the ideas I've had are actually more easily implemented for the new rules. (The "Fighting" attribute is a big help to me, for example.) Another thing that makes me a little proud of where I was going was that my system would've given Hal Jordan's 25 Force Manipulation would've translated to a 17.5 Create Object. Seeing as 3e Hal Jordan has a Force Manipulation of 18, I think I was on a pretty good track.

So now my offer is that once the Hero & Villain books start coming out, maybe I'll be sending you M&M 3e versions of characters from DCH that got ignored.

Will do. And since they've said already that there only the four most obvious Green Lanterns in the book, and they've given us a GL character to look at up front, I can already start up figuring out the Ability Scores and the rings for each of those that won't be appearing in the official books, only having to wait for the new rules to work out advantages, most of the defenses, and skills.

Which is awesome, because I'm a big fan of the Corps, and if memory serves, so are you!
