GM "Remote Control" card idea

Have an M&M fan Web site? Find a great place to get superhero miniatures? Have miniature conversion tips or any other resources like that? Put 'em in here.

GM "Remote Control" card idea

Postby Demongg » Wed Oct 24, 2007 1:29 pm

Here's an idea that I made up for my D&D game. I'm considering making it for my M&M games as well. It worked well during my last D&D session.

The idea is that I have an Excel file (you can download and see it from here: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Fri ... ang/files/ ) that I update with KEY information from PC's character sheets.

I then print it for each player, cut them out, hole punch the mini-sheets and then use a ring binder to hold them on a small foam core board.

This is for my GM reference during games.
For my D&D game (which is somewhat secretive) WHEN something happens to a PC I simply flip to their sheet and hand them the card to track Hit Points, Spell Points, Conditions, etc...

I'm considering making one for M&M.
What areas do you think are needed to cover for the M&M rules?

here's a picture I made of the little "GM Remote Control" (almost actual size)

Looks interesting. If you do do one for your M&M tell us how it worked out.

Though I can see it having a list of powers on it too and maybe a description of the powers.

You might have to create a double-sided version for M&M. Expanded powers and notes on the reverse perhaps?

Wow, these could be really useful.

Can you send us a link for your DnD one as well?
