Not to complain or anything, but what's the latest on the generator front?

Someone ought to pay the man... so he can devote more time to this project!

Sorry, I'm broke right now.

I have a small update - I am working a new version of the ComicArtist engine which will be a regular application. It will no longer rely on flash to run.

What this means: it will be more efficient for people with lower end systems, it will allow full file saving capabilities, and it will be more extensible both by myself and anyone else who wants to design models.

Bad news: it will be a windows application. I may have time to port it to mac/linux as well depending on demand, but I am shooting for the largest audience at start.

I am also looking into the possibility of an intelligent updater for when I release add-ins or updates.

will it be able to load easier, meaning no system lag when i open it?

hero machine lags my system a bit.. especially with winamp running... actually any sort of system intensive stuff tends to... maybe winamp needs a tuneup?!..lol

Hero Machine lags my computer after awhile, and if it goes on too long, the outline of the dwarf model appears over whatever I was working on and locks the whole thing up.

I haven't had any reports like that of the flash version of ComicArtist, but you never know.

Still tinkering with building it into a windows app...I haven't actually made up my mind yet.
