Updated again, to add all the previews for H& Villains Vol. 2. I must apologize again for so long an absence. Like far too many others these days, I've lost my job and have had to concentrate on rectifying that situation.

I'm pretty sure there's lots of other things that need to be added; I'll work on them as I can.

Can reviews be unofficial? Or even official for that matter? ;)

^_^ There is that. I guess I was more meaning that they are an unofficial resource, a set of reviews.

I've created a thread (re-purposed actually) with links and ratings for all of my reviews as well as some other gaming related stuff I have written in the past couple of years. Find it here.

Like a good superhero or villain (or a bad one, for that matter - I'm looking at you, Squirrel Girl!), this thread rises from the returns yet again!

Linked in Jameson's reviews, etc. thread. Condensed podcasts with many M&M 3e episodes down to a single link each. Added a link to the Vigilance Press podcast as well. And the Mental Powers sampler.

Anyone got anything they want linked in?

Edit: I just realized that this thread, in its twin incarnations, is over a year and a half old. That's like a million years old in internet years.

Has Punching for Justice been mentioned yet?

Punching For Justice

Their latest episode is an actual play and I recommend listening if you're just started running or playing the third edition m&m system!

Nope, that's a new one. I'll have to give them a listen.

My apologies if this topic has been beaten into the ground however many moons ago. I'm trying to determine if, hopefully WHEN, a Freedom City setting release for 3rd edition will be forthcoming. I searched extensively through the message boards and the only reference to such I've found was a reasurance that the forthcoming Emerald City setting is set in the same game world. Fine, but not my question. My group and I for the better part of 8 years have used the Freedom City setting and we all love it. The geography and the layout of the map in the book itself is surprisingly reminiscent of where we live right here in northern NJ (i.e., the Newark/Elizabeth, NJ area) so it seemed like a natural. In fact, though I have purchased the Heroes Handbook and DC Adventures book 1 to date for 3rd edition, we've never stopped using 2nd edition precisely BECAUSE of the availability of Freedom City and it's supporting books (Silver Age, Freedom's Most Wanted, etc). I'm holding off on buying more 3rd edition materials until (or unless) Freedom City becomes available for it because although some things are "different" in 3rd edition, not enough amounts to different in a "better" way to justify abandoning our current digs or the extensive converting we'll have to do for everything and everyone involved if we did use 3E. Bottom line, gotta be a baby about this...when is it coming out? I can't imagine going on a decade's use of that setting you DON'T plan to come out with Freedom City for 3E; seems as though it shouldve been the FIRST book after Heroes Handbook. Thank you in advance for your time and attention in reply of this, and God bless.

We definitely have plans for Freedom City. The short answer is that you'll likely see it come out next year (meaning 2014).

Steve and I have talked about Freedom City quite a bit and we have some cool ideas on how to change it, while still keeping it familiar to players who've used it for years, like you.

Very cool, and thank you for the reply. STILL think Freedom City should've been the FIRST thing (following the basic set) released, but it's absolutely worth waiting for!
