Atlas of Earth-Prime Writers Needed -- Outside the U.S.

Postby JonL » Sat Feb 08, 2014 4:16 pm

Hello all!

As you've no doubt seen in the Ronin Round Table, we're working on a new series of PDFs called the Atlas of Earth-Prime. The series covers the different parts of the world in 8-10 page PDFs we'll eventually collect into a book.

One of the things we're doing with this series is finding natives of the different areas of the world to contribute to it. I have writers from some of the earlier entries in the series (USA, Mexico, Canada, Central America, South America, Northern Europe, and Australia Oceania), but I could use help finding writers to help for other parts of the world.

What I'm looking for:

* Writers with some experience (sorry, with a day job, I don't have time to take on big editing tasks)
* M&M players, specifically M&M3
* Native to, or very knowledgeable with: Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, East Asia, or South Asia.

If this sounds like you or a friend of yours, please respond to this post or write to me at jon@greenronin.com

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

Hmmmm, what exactly are you looking for?
I'm from Belgium and I'm a long time M&M fan and GM.
While I've created such things as a large team of European superheroes that have an advanced base on an island off the coast of Norway, geography has never really been my strong suit.

Do you need things like write-ups on actual locations and how they are different in the Freedom universe as well as the super-powered characters you could find there, or will any kind of addition do?

I'm from Germany. What kind of editing experience is needed exactly? What about pictures (which are probably not all that numerous in such a short supplement)?

If you need a brain trust to bounce ideas off of, feel free to ask: I'm always happy to be a sounding board.

I am not an outside US writer, but I just wanted to say that I like the idea of this line. The following year you could do outside of Earth or different dimensions or planes of existence or something.
The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.

Just about every kid today wants to be Batman, Spiderman, or Superman. Maybe if we were better parents they would not want to become orphans.

I'm over in England, and I would love to help out in any way I can! Even if it's as little as photography to help out the artists, but I would definitely contribute writing if you'll have me. Just let me know if you need anything.

I´m a outside US writer, I actually have two stories published in two anthologies in Spain and in the next April I published a book of mine, but I´m born and raised in México.

If you need some help for La Liga de Metaluchadores and the "ancient astronauts amongst the Mayan ruins" or other stuff just tell me.

I´m a writer from México, I know you are asking for Europa, Asia and Africa also I know you got Alex Melchor, but I think La Liga de Metaluchadores in Mexico and ancient Mayan astronauts is not fair enought.

Anyway if you need some help for Spain, I can do that for sure.

There won't be an entry on any specific states, but we will be doing one on the Pacific region. I may already have that covered, but thanks for posting and letting me know you're interested!
