Re: Do official settings work?

I always thought that the Mayfair/West End DC settings books were great and useful for making the universe's imaginary cities more concrete. The observation that comics knowledge is needed to make the Universe book useable is a fair criticism and is probably applicable to the above-referenced books ...

Re: [Green] Arrow TV Series

Or else, they DO give him superpowers, which then a) makes me concerned about the special effects and more importantly b) breaks the rule about no powers. It can't be any worse than the SFX in the old 1990's Flash series. Ashamed to admit, but I was so young, I dug the Flash series. I think I just ...

Re: Crinoverse: Nights of horror IC (Heart of Glass)

I am a little confused as to how to picture this scene. Are the rest of us hiding while Karl talks to this guy? Otherwise, there is just some broad with a bow standing there awkwardly, staring at him. :) I will assume that we are hiding unless told otherwise, I guess.

Yeah, I don't think he was being sarcastic. And I agree with drkrash-Stephen Amell gets a bad rap for being wooden, but its actually a calculated choice. The fact is, Ollie was basically suffering through PTSD for the entire first season, and his journey to becoming both a hero and a more complete,...

You might want to start here.

Also you could try and use some of what I did in the Ultimate Sourcebook (see my signature) for the time periods before your "decade."

The African Union/ Organisation of African Unity is having its fiftieth anniversary this year.

They have a pretty sweet logo.

Their official languages (per their Protocol) are Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Kiswahili, and any other African

Re: African superhero team name help.

How else can we explain the Great Ten Maybe you are being sarcastic or ironic or something, and I have never read any of their books, but I always got the impression that the name was kind of lame because it was a translation. i.e. "It loses something in . . ." Isn't that the general shtick with al...
