Even more so if you look up who the girl is in real life.

This argument is old. As much as I like a good resurrection this particular debate has reached the same stalemate it always does. Officially falling damage caps above what real world terminal velocity would imply based on the slam and vehicle collision mechanics. You can adjust this for your own gam...

On a related note, if I attack teleport someone 10,000 feet in the air, is their falling damage still limited by my PL cap? Yes. Individual GMs may vary on that, but by the rules it caps. I'd be curious to know what you're basing that on. The closest thing I've seen is Steve stating that if you use...

From my point of view Stan is still very creative he's just a bad writer. WHen he did his versions of the Justice League origins the characters had interesting backgrounds it's just the dialogue and plot that sucked. Even Stripperlla was more interesting than I'd have thought possible. I think Stan ...

Some of the my favorite adventure hooks from my Academy Game included. Crashed Time ship: During a run in the forest for gym class the players are caught in a temporal explosion time inside the blast radius is severely slowed down (millions or years are passing per second) while outside the blast is...

well, he looked mostly fleshy when the machine went off. considering the bank was demolished, it stands to reason that's why fleshies have to go. because cromartie was damaged, he had enough skin on the head to go through, but the backwash burned it off n arrival or it was a sid effect of sarah fir...

One thing about time travel that Marvel swims past: the idea that one cannot travel further back than the creation of the time machine. That throws a quantum stepped monkey wrench into a lotta Marvel stories, but doesn't necessarily impede Terminator's premise since, for all we know, Skynet merely ...

It's odd, in my 50 Fathoms game I'd had Gary Gygax as the Pirate Captain of a ship named "Beholder" just 2 weeks ago. In a freak set of chart results the entire crew was killed but the ship hadn't sunk.

Well, I played (and occasionally enjoyed) D&D 3 and 3.5, but I never thought that the D20 SW (any version) was very good. SWSE didn't seem any better to me, and the playtesting was pathetic with no explanation for apparent gross imbalances. I can't say since I haven't played SWSE but as I said it's...

I'd guess you shouldn't even buy 4e if you think SWSE was that bad. It's no secret 4e will have alot in common with SWSE.

I still have troubles figuring where Wizards is going to draw their fanbase from. Too much of these changes seems to rely on drawing new people in. When 3.0 came out, the timing was right on this. Now, it seems like it wants to be the jack-of-all games. This worries me. WotC/Hasbro is shelling out ...

Okay, thinking about it on the day after... The question of whether Cameron was friendly-built has been settled. When Reese saw her, he immediately freaked (Austin-Greene's fight-or-flight reaction at their meeting was very well done, BTW). This tells me, at least, that she was an infiltrator, just...

I am trying to figure out how that doesn't fall under trolling. Hey now... just because he has absolutely nothing to contribute to the discussion about the show other than flame-baiting and bile, and just because he directly and indirectly insults those of us who enjoy this show, denigrates the pro...

I'm starting to think Owen's actor couldn't generate chemistry with a co-actor if his life depended on it.
