Re: M&M for Android

I was just searching to see if there was one available. I would certainly be interested in this.

I am confused. If you have speed 5 and teleport 3, why not just use your speed to do the slam attack and not worry about the teleport? I think normally, this would be used however, think about a situation where the villain is surrounded by robots or something that he controls. With superspeed, you ...

As for the Slam transfer, it reads in the slam attack description like so... "The Immovable power (see page 89) reduces the damage inflicted by a slam attack and increases the damage suffered by the attacker." But in the case of your example...YOU are the attacker. I may be wrong but the way I unde...

Actually, I don't think it would work that way. Rereading the Immovable/Unstoppable descriptions I do not see where it prevents you from taking the slam damage when you are making the slam attack. I certainly would not allow that in my game. There are other powers (toughness, immunities, etc) that w...

The way I read it I would say no. The increased save DC is listed under the description of Single Target. It also makes sense that it wouldn't since what is adding to the DC is the fact you are being hit multiple times with one attack. If you walk the damage, then you are hitting multiple people wit...

If this is an Extra that would apply to Perception touch range attacks, then why couldn't it apply to normal Perception attacks? If this Extra (available to players in the first place) was going to appear in a game I played (or ran), I'd want it to be available to both (fair is fair, IMO). If this ...

I would say that +4 would not be unbalancing. Since you can make a power innate (with GMs approval) for only 1pp.

That's how I would handle it.

If someone already has control and the second person tries to claim control of the device, then there would be a power grapple with ties going to the person who had control first.

Nope, extra ranks in the power up the saving throw difficulty. Since Paralyze is a Will save, the save DC is 10+power rank. Only one rank in paralyze would mean that the target would only have to roll 11 or higher to have no effect. The same with Nauseate although it is a Fortitude save. Anything th...

I'm not sure if this is what Bushido was wanting but I used to have a Champions character who could effect people's powers.. It was difficult to build in Champions as well. On a successful hit, he could give powers drawbacks like concentration, uncontrolled, unreliable, etc. I once hit a villain fly...

How many people allow the Multiple Attacks power from MaMa, or allow normal attacks to be bought down from a Standard action to a move (or god forbid, less)? I have one player out of 7 that I have allowed take the Extra Attack power out of MaMa. He plays an elastic alien construct and I was looking...

I wouldn't think so. Sneak attacks generally come at either the start of combat or after setting the target up by using bluff, intimidate, etc. Sneak Attack via nauseated would block the first option and make it only feasable after successfully attacking someone. I would clarify it to the player tha...

I'm with Telsar. I think they CAN distract from the game but I also can think of some situations where they are very fitting. 90% of thse can be worked out via other powers (which have been discussed in mass in other threads). My vote would fall somewhere in between but closer to the "distract from ...

31 Megs I have the MM2e, MM, UP, and FC and they all average 30MB. I think that it will be passes around a bit. Try to think about how many times in a game session or get together you look at the main book to look up powers. UP reprints (almost?) all the powers of the main book and clarifies a lot o...

It's not that I think you shouldn't be able to feint with Bluff. It's that I don't think you should have to be good at lying to be good at feinting. Telsar's option for narrow skills is a good one except that I don't want to use narrow skills as a general rule, so it would be strange to have a lone...
