Or you could ask for a check (in 3e it'd be Athletics, 2e I think it'd be Acrobtics) with the DC taking into account Woozel's lead. Assuming their speed ranks are about the same. Otherwise it might be decreased if Shirin is faster. Then throw out a reasonable guess for how long it'd take her to catc...
