As FuzzyBoots and Monolith already said Energy Aura is in the Power Effects table from the Hero´s Handbook.

Also you can find it in page 107, as a Damage Reaction 4 points per rank.

I'd argue that although the book puts 7 as "peak human" that's really not a good endpoint. There are many official characters in both DC Adventures and Freedomverse that have higher mental scores than 7, who don't have superpowers/mutations, etc. I know like Ray Palmer, Batman or Bane as an example...

How, then, would you model the ability we see in comics sometimes which allows the blind character with enhanced touch to "feel" the ink on a page, thereby reading it? I'm thinking of doing it as an enhanced tactile sense (which is already accurate and has a radius). I *think* I'd need to add ranged and acute in order to allow it to function well enough to target something. Alas, I'm not quite sure how to handle things that might be concealed to a "sighted" chara...

Using standard Growth, a 60' man is going to have at least STR 12, so he's going to oppose Trip attacks with d20+12 (assuming you don't also houserule for size/mass). Unless the tripper has a high Ath or Acro skill as well, it's likely the giant will resist. Yes, this does allow martial artist type...

Speed of thought is a benefit feat from one of the newer books (I don't remember which one though). It allows the character to use intellect for initiative instead of agility. I guess it is from Emerald City setting. As psilich suggested the Knowledge of anatomy could be a power with the Variable C...

As the "Trip" action can describe a lot of different actions with the result of making the target fall prone, it really doesn't have to be limited. The Flash could run around Giganta's feet, causing a shockwave that makes her lose her footing, for example. That can be a trip action. It doesn't have...

If your GM aproval, you can buy Protection (limited only for Wind and Water as a -1 point per rank), so if you have Protection 6 will cost you just 3 points, or a cost of 1 power point per 2 point per rank
