Re: Iron Edda: Heroes of Metal & Bone (OOC, Closed) [3e]

Well, a few ideas of how to fit the world together given our background had been voiced but then we stalled out. PBP seems to be VERY susceptible to momentum. The fate system has mechanics to structure such things and make it less awkward. In play by post it is particularly hard to "Talk things out"...

Re: White Sands Dark Nights (2e recruiting)

I do still have 4 minion points left to spend on Rex if we decide to go that way, and I could easily free up a point or two from Max's build for future development. However, It will take a lot of reworking to come up with the points to make Max a sidekick at this point if you feel I need to go that ...

Re: White Sands Dark Nights (2e recruiting)

Still working on my background. As for the supernatural nature of Rex, well...I'm not sure. I am thinking that Max found him at a crime scene with a lot of supernatual vibe, but he isn't a foo dog or a familiar for Max. I was trying to keep him withing the realm of the mundane, just well trained. Th...

Re: Looking for advice on dwarven Tech

Could I do flying and swimming as alt powers of shrinking as they will never be used at the same time? Would it be fair to lower the cost by limiting shrinking to full strength? Finally, how small does 20 ranks of shrinking make a Gargantuan object (I am thinking only small which is not quite pocket...

Re: White Sands Dark Nights (2e recruiting)

I am not looking for a Hound of Tindalos or Fenris, just a large well trained guard dog.

Re: White Sands Dark Nights (2e recruiting)

Thinking about an ex-police officer (thinking injured in the line of duty, but couldn't handle a desk job) who now is running a security firm which provides guard dogs and animal training. Also thinking of having a !^$&# huge dog as either a minion or sidekick. Not sure which to go with.

Re: Freedom's Misfits (OOC, closed/done/over)

This is sad to hear. Transitions are always hard, but at least we got through the first scenario fairly smoothly. Best of luck in your future games.

Re: Second Edition Ideas

my order of interest was DBAC, so you could probably throw me in with the urban fantasy scenario.
Of course, if Moira decides to go with the supers scenario there is your own urban fantasy scenario Illusionista (doesn't do you much good though :( ).

Re: [2e] Wild Cards Agents of FBI [recruiting 1]

You might want to PM the others to let them know about the opening (or not as you choose). I just happened to stumble across the fact that you were in need of another player with preference for those who had applied before, but some of the others might not. I think I have too many irons in the fire ...

Re: Looking for advice on dwarven Tech

thanks for the idea Digitalangel. Morph as an alternate power actually works quite well since the boat then would actually become the new small object unlike both of my examples which had a separate object used.

Re: Second Edition Ideas

D sounds like it could be quite interesting though the PL4 cap is very limiting. B has good potential as well (I have recently been watching old episodes of Angel having run out of Buffy a while ago) with much greater flexibility at PL6. A has some appeal, though would like a bit more info about you...

Re: Freedom's Misfits: 20000 Leagues Above The Earth (IC)

War sprite HP: 2 Status: Normal (Fine sized) Robin shrugs, "Everything I knew about him, he just summarized with a mad cackle or two thrown in for good measure. As for fighting the freedom league, I'm not sure, but you can bet your bottom doubloon that he is going to be facing us soon." Glancing at...
